South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Henry hoped that someone out there missed him. He felt so very alone and he wasn't feeling up to admitting just how much he wished he had someone. He was terribly frightened. He was scared that he would end up alone. He wouldn't voice his fears to the stranger beside him, but he wished he could. He would tell him that he didn't want to leave...and that he wanted to spend some time with him as he tried to piece his life back together. This stranger made him feel hopeful and fearless. He caused feelings to stir inside of Henry that he didn't even think was possible. And yet...he didn't want to burden the gentleman with his presence. He couldn't be in debt to this man...so that put him in a very interesting position. A dilemma indeed.

Seeing what Sterling could conjure was enough to frighten anyone that had never heard of the supernatural being real...so when he showed Henry his little power, it freaked Henry out. He hadn't meant to trip and fall, but he also wasn't paying attention to all the plants the man had on his balcony. So really, his fall was just the result of a series of unfortunate events that ended with Henry having a pretty bad gash on the back of his head.

As Henry looked at the blood on his fingers, he wondered about how someone got such abilities. He had never heard of them before...at least not being real. He knew they existed in books and films, but never in real life. As Sterling left the balcony, Henry stood up slowly, his mind fuzzy and his vision a little blurred. When Sterling came back with the damp towel, he took it and placed it on his wound, pressing firmly to stop the bleeding. It caused him to hiss at the sting. As his eyes looked up at Sterling, he couldn't help but see the rejection in his eyes. Instantly, Henry felt bad for making him feel that way. "Look, I didn't mean to offend you. It's just not something I'm used to seeing. Just startled me, is all." Henry genuinely felt bad and he couldn't figure out why he felt so bad. Normally he would have just brushed off the issue with an apology and a quick goodbye. But something kept him at the male's side. He wasn't okay with just a simple apology. The need to make it up to Sterling was strong and he had no clue why.

Sterling offered to look at his wound and Henry nodded softly. Someone would need to make sure he didn't need stitches. It didn't feel too terribly deep, but he also didn't have eyes on the back of his head to make that decision. He stepped into the kitchen and slowly pulled the towel away from the wound. "So what do you think, doc? Will I live?" He couldn't help but chuckle. It was always like Henry to make light of serious situations. Maybe that was just how he dealt with things.
