The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Despite the ebony feline's close connection with his human self, he was hardly oblivious to the animalistic language that so clearly painted her emotions. It was a meticulous dance - a flick of the ears, a tautness of a muscle, a movement of the tail. In their kingdom such nuisances spoke volumes. Some, those who spent more of their time as their mortal counterparts, might have found themselves slowly growing ignorant to such subtleness but for Tetradore it was nearly impossible to miss. After all, his own closest companion was often more of a beast than a human. He knew well the thin line he walked with the female coyote, just as he too had long ago realized that she too was of higher rank within her canine pack. She was stubborn, less likely to back down, and far less tolerant. She was, perhaps, everything a good Alpha should mirror, qualities even Tetradore was not entirely sure he well embodied. Nevertheless, his paws carried him in a large, slinking circle around the female, his intense emerald gaze steadfast upon her for any cautionary sign that she might have again tired of his presence. Her wound gave him the advantage.
"Then you don't know. You don't even have memories of it? Dreams? Of being human?" He inquired, pausing in front of her as his head tilted again in that same inquisitive fashion. His ears swiveled forward upon his head, his chest rumbled with a reverberating sound that was a peculiar mixture of his feline vocals attempting to form a human sound of 'hm'. He settles upon his rump again, this time closer to her then the last time. His tail slowly curled around his large masculine figure, his thoughts drifting elsewhere for a moment before his baritone voice offers her one simple whisper, "That must be nice." The moment, however, was fleeting as Tetradore pushed those lingering thoughts away, his tail once again regaining that playful flick. "Somewhere, beneath that fur, there is a beautiful human girl inside of you - even if you don't know of her existence. I can show you though, if you want to see her." It was, after all, her decision. His own curiosity had been sedated, his interest satisfied. Now - it was all on her.
