The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.
The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.
Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Everything happens as entirely as he expects it to, his punch connecting smoothly with the other man, sending him stumbling back and towards the water with the dizzying force of it. He half expected some retaliation, some physical effort on the part of the other man and yet this Fae seemed more determined to give him a tongue lashing, as if he truly believed a few well-placed words might save his life. It is nothing Azrael has not heard before, they always scream and shout or curse him to hell. All of them. At least, the ones who didn't want to die, the ones who did were entirely more welcoming about his presence, far more than one declaring his name suited him now that they understood, now that they saw. Why this one seemed so determined to live he hardly knew, the boy seeming to feel the entire thing was an injustice on the world. Maybe he hadn't hurt anyone, but he would. Fae always did, eventually. It is only the man's final words that seem to goad any response from the Hunter, stating what some part of Azrael knew all along, that he himself wasn't human- at least not anymore. It was that simple facet of his own existence that still alluded the Hunter himself. Did he truly class as supernatural like the things he hunted? Was he excused from their sins by his own pre-programmed desire to defend the human race from them? Kill himself? Golden eyes glance upward, meeting the boys own for a moment.
"You don't think I've tried?"
Whether the Fae truly heard or not Azrael hardly knew and perhaps hardly cared, though his words are true enough. He has tried. Any further thought he might have been inclined to consider on the topic however is abruptly ended by the Fae reaching towards him, fingers brushing momentarily against his arm. The sudden sensation of calm that sweeps over him sees the Hunter freeze. Maybe it wasn't really all that important that he did anything to this boy, features softening slightly, perhaps affording the Fae that single moment he needed to jump. The magic ends the moment the boy pulls away, Azrael yanking himself backwards all the same, golden gaze flickering hurriedly down to his arm to assure himself the supernatural touch of the Fae hadn't left some sort of visible mark on him before he sees the other man dive into the river and be swept hurriedly under.
"Well that's new."
Leaping into rivers in an effort to escape him was more desperation then his victims normally displayed, particularly those injured enough to risk drowning themselves. Hmm. Perhaps the river would do his job for him. He considers following, if only for a moment, after all, gravity had no hold upon him- he could walk atop the water if he desired and simply follow the man- else hold him under through the use of his own powers and watch him drown and yet he feels a simper tug at his lips all the same. This one might be entirely more interesting to let go, if he survived the river after all. The lesson had surely been learned well enough regardless. If he saw him again however, he'd finish him then. He pivots neatly on his heel, turning away from the river with ease, stretching the tightness from his shoulders as he does before strolling smoothly back the way he had come. At least his evening had proven to be interesting enough, this Fae now in the database all the same, his ability to create calm listed along with him for future Hunters to note.
And they said he didn't know the meaning of mercy. The fae was lucky tonight, lucky and nothing else.
