South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Anna-Marie Belrose

It was the young fae's indecision on running from the vampires that made her the unfortunate next victim of Anna's attention. At least now, with the hunters blood sitting warmly in her stomach spreading that stolen life through her body, Anna was no longer on the verge of a bloodlust rampage. She had not had one in several centuries, not since her own maker was fresh dust and had to fend for herself. As Anna's grip on the fae's essence remained strong, her glare stabbed at Sebastian, "Disgusting." She growled in retort finding the lust for flesh that his feeding required completely...disgusting. It wasn't really either of their fault since she had never reached the age in her mortal years for her mind and body to mature completely in that way.

The faerie's plea drew Anna's attention back to her prey. For a moment the child vampire simply stood there, tilting her head to one side as she regarded the woman with curiosity. Her pleas it would seem fell on deaf ears as Anna only told Sebastian to feed. It appeared at first that Anna was going to get what she wished, Sebastian eased closer to the trapped fae and a delightful smile spread across her features. Until Sebastian faultered and wiped that smile from her face in an instant. His abilities reached out in that same moment to ensnare her mind, working to smooth out any anger towards his defiance. Why does it matter? That string of thought faded out as the pheromones took over her system as child took over predator. "Ceara...yes." Anna glanced from the fae to Sebastian in obvious internal debate on which was more important. It did help that centuries ago it had been that childhood crush which drew her to Sebastian in the first place.

Anna's grasp on Sam eased until her hold on the fae released completely, unclenching her hand to reach out and take Sebastian's offered one. "Let's go see Ceara, she works in the East." The child seemed pleased, allowing Sebastian to curtail her away from the fae. Anna glanced over her shoulder once more, sticking her tongue out at the woman as if she had won a prize and was snubbing the fairy's nose in it. That innocent smile and dancing blue eyes turned up to Sebastian as he started to lead her away. Perhaps it was her age, having over 400 more years on Sebastian, or the fact that she was his maker, or even that the reason she was this way was far stronger than his power. Either way, Sebastian's ability slipped from Anna and that same phrase reverberated in her mind. Why does it matter? Anna's grip on Sebastian's hand tightened as her feet planted firmly in refusal to move any further. "It does matter." There was an undercurrent to her tone that was hard to place, a reverence of sorts that spoke of something deeper than what was actually occurring here. That memory of her past dwelled in those icy blue eyes that had seen so much over the centuries. "You will learn." Back was the tone that held authority over Sebastian. "You will bite her. You will feed from her. Then we will go see Ceara." Only then did she release Sebastian's hand in order for him to carry out her order. At least the silver lining in her care for him and his feelings was that she hadn't told him to kill the fae too.
