The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. The University places a high focus both upon educating future generations but also on research to help revolutionize the world. Sebastian EllingtonI need to feel you again, feel my lips on your skin
for one night I could be him, no, I could be better
The day had started well enough - or rather, last night had. Sebastian had found his way into the bed of two particularly salacious women whom just so happened to not only be sisters, but, under his careful coercion, also entirely willing to share him for the evening. Several drinks later and the trio had wound up in a small starter home on the South side upon which Sebastian had busied himself for the entirety of the evening with exploring every facet of their bodies. Usually, the man made every effort to be gone from the homes he invaded before the sun rose - but the pair had certainly taken up a good portion of his evening and with summer approaching, the nights had gotten shorter. Suffice to say, Sebastian found himself tucked in their bed with their naked bodies pressed against him and the curtain's drawn tightly over their windows. It was hardly as nice as his own room, the sun still getting through at the seams of the panels of fabric but it was enough. Or it had been enough, until one of the sister's husband came home from the night shift. Oops.

Suffice to say, several screaming matches and threats later, Sebastian found himself being tossed out of the house and into the sunlight despite his protest that it would surely bring about his death. The husband was furious enough that, in some fashion or another, it pleased him to know that the vampire could surely die thanks to his wife's treachery. It would teach her a lesson - or so he was assured. And that was exactly how Sebastian found himself huddled beneath the meager shade of a trunk of a rather large tree in the park. His whole body felt unusually warm, despite the trenchcoat he donned to protect what he could of his pale, dead flesh. His crystalline gaze scanned the contents of the park with an unusual panic alit within his vibrant eyes. He needed to get out of the sun before his skin started to quite literally burn off of his body, he could already see the paleness of his hands turning that unsightly sunburnt red.

A soft inhale was all that was given before Sebastian vaulted forward, fully intending to dash from patch of shade to patch till he could find some sort of building he could hunker down within for the day. His senses, however, were entirely dulled, his body doing it's best to heal the damage of the sunlight as it occurred and instantly the man felt the rumbling need of hunger. It was, perhaps, this sluggishness to his functioning that saw the man's usual grace falter, his body collided unexpectedly into the form of another and for a panicked moment, Sebastian staggered back. There were very few moments when the vampire was vulnerable but this was surely one of them - when he was quite literally running for his life. A soft hiss left his lips as Sebastian glanced up at the human man in front of him.
