The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.
The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.
Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.
The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. Kato Buhari
Kato's walk around Edie's poised form was slow and deliberate. He didn't want to leave a single thing to chance so tested every angle of pushing at her to ensure her stance was strong. Her comment of punching her friend caused him to raise a brow. "Oh?" He certainly didn't put it past her to punch someone; she was a feisty once after all. Though he was surprised it actually broke a nose. "I hope he was at least armed." Whether or not the man Edie spoke of deserved to be struck wasn't really a concern of his though sucker punches ranked high on his frowned upon list. Kato was of the upbringing that if he was going to fight you, you'd be aware and armed in the same fashion he was. A fair fight.
His hands moved easily and comfortably over Edie to manipulate her in demonstrating the maneuvers. Edie's reaction to his hands on her hips wasn't lost on him. Had the near death experience not happened and this lesson simply been in fun then Kato would have been easily distracted and let his touch grow more...intimate, but he was all business in this moment. A smirk tugged his lips when he released Edie in order to practice her first strike against him and his body remained unmoved by it. He couldn't help the chuckle that rumbled in his chest at her clear agitation, "You'll get stronger." It was then he began moving her for a different position and listened to her rebuttal to his comment about looking for trouble. "You could have had me fooled for how much trouble you've gotten into in such a short amount of time." His tone was light but matter-of-fact as he dropped his hands and explained the move only to stand there and wait.
And wait he did to the point that he was about to ask Edie if she had actually managed to fall asleep with her eyes open. Kato raised a brow, noting the tremor starting in Edie and her breathing waver. "Edie?" He raised his hand to reach for hers that rested against his chest only to have her hand slip away quickly from beneath his touch before he could grab it. Confusion overtook him as Kato was left standing there to stare in bewilderment down at the woman who was having some form of panic attack. He wasn't sure what to do, had never had training in this sort of department. Surely he hadn't broken her already? This was just the beginning of the training...just the first hour of her first lesson.
Slowly Kato stepped around Edie to crouch down in front close enough that his knees nearly brushed hers. He hesitated there, his brows furrowed in concern but unsure of what could have caused this. "Edie...You need to slow your breathing down." He spoke gently, reaching forward with one hand to carefully hook his index finger beneath her chin to tilt her head in order to look at him. "What's wrong, Little Dove? You were doing well."
