The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.
The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

PhD in Plant Biology Abigail Hughes
It wasn't that she had an Ergophobia within Lucian's Den, but she needed a break before she developed some sort of phobia that kept her from doing a mundane task. For countless of hours she was busy making the entire warehouse organized and functioning smoothly. She hated being around others that were incapable of making the workflow just run efficiently. Really it wasn't that hard. Why Lucian had to hire folks that couldn't look at the objects and place them in the correct spot, she simply could not understand. It agitated her to no end when she would look for a certain gun, or a certain size in a vest and find that they were placed in completely wrong areas. She had placed small pictures beside the price tags not for the customers benefit, but for her worthless coworkers. For such a meek woman she had a very short string and she wasn't afraid to show it every now and then. The curly haired woman did not want to have some sort of negative reputation with them and so she rarely ever said her peace, keeping it all tucked away for a later date. Already she could hear the whispers behind her back discussing each and every permanent flaw that touched her pale flesh and really she didn't want to give them any more ammunition. Always she would ignore them and passively correct their mistakes. If she had to keep this up then she would have to go and ask Lucian for a raise. Partly so she could use the extra money to slip a few heavy drinks to soothe her pounding headache and partly so she could provide Alexis some extra cash to do whatever she pleased. Alexis was her friend after all and she wanted to make sure her friend was okay when she was not around.
Tonight she needed to take a bit of fresh air away from the comfortable and familiar territory of the warehouse district. She was craving to feel grass underneath her paws rather the wood and pavement. It was far much easier to run through the trees than leaping and hoping over various boxes. The desire to inhale the night air filled with the scents of woodland creatures, oak trees, and the spicy summer wind. It was far better than smelling grime, wood, and the salt air. With Alexis out and about somewhere and with Tobi doing who knows what, she was grateful to have this chance to be alone to collect her thoughts. With the full moon starting to come in just a week's time, she was going to try and finally sing her song for a change. It was natural for a wolf to howl, but she had been damaged far too much, whatever strength was needed to howl had been broken by others. She was working on it. Each night at the warehouse, before she went to bed, she would slip out and stand on the roof standing in proper position and throwing her head back as no sound came out. Here in the park she was doing the same thing, staying within the shadows. She had ventured out towards the outskirts but caught the scent of a few Dark Hunters and she thought it best she stick around the Park more.
Tonight, for extra precaution, she decided that it would be best if she was in her largest size, over 8 feet tall to be exact. As she threw her head back, attempting to howl, she felt a rather harsh force slam into her. Being shoved towards the ground a low growl rumbled in her chest as she slowly turned around to see a wolf, much larger than her by only a few inches, was starting to attack human pet canines. Grey trimmed ears flew back tightly against her ebony skull as she slowly backed away...afraid. Blue-grey eyes watched the scene unfold and when he finally killed the dog, she went still. Standing in the shadows, as he approached her, she would stare at him, her massive size easily noticeable from the shadows. Raising her head up slightly, a vicious snarl was her reply when he snarled at her. Yet her attention on the male was taken over by the shouts and sounds and scent of the Dark Hunters. Taking a few steps back, flinched when she heard the sound of a bullet hit a nearby tree. Throwing her head towards the right, she would start running in that direction, whether the throwing of her head was a sign to follow or not, just couldn't be said. It would be awhile before she would stop herself. The scent of the Dark Hunters were long gone, as they hadn't managed to catch up to them to stick to the trail, and she thought it best if she lost the almost dead weight behind her. Finding herself standing in a clearing she would turn her sleek massive form around. Staying in this size of a bear, she would give the male a warning growl not wanting him to approach any further.
