Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

"Hm?" Sebastian inquired to the young girl's remark, only half listening to her at this point. On the contrary, his nearly ebony gaze had turned towards that flesh of red, to stare blankly at the thread tied to her finger. Had it been here all along? He was certain that it wasn't - not before. Sebastian glanced over his shoulder, watching the way the bright ruby thread trailed off into darkness with no apparent end. It just kept going - on and on until he could no longer see it anymore. No, this certainly had not been here when he had first cornered the were girl, of that Sebastian was entirely certain. He pulled away from the girl ever so slightly, his fingers leaving her chin only to reach down to her fingertips and take her hand within his. It was peculiar, the way that satin thread seemed to glisten in the moonlight as he flipped her hand over so that her palm was facing upwards. Sebastian had lost all concentration on the young woman, much less on his intent to hold her within the grasp of his affinity. He was far too weak to keep those powers active, not now anyways.

Instead, the vampire reached out to touch that satin thread, twirling it around his fingertips. It felt surprisingly gentle against his flesh, as if it was somehow meant for him despite how peculiarly intimate this simple gesture felt. The vampire was hardly prepared for the innate knowledge that filled his brain - the simple truth that she was taken followed by the face of a boy filled his brain. He was taken entirely of guard, immediately dropping the red ribbon and stepping away from her with a look of astonishment clearly echoing upon his features. He'd certainly known before that not all of his victims were single. Hell, it was very possible that his feeding alone had managed to ruin several relationships and, in truth, he had never really cared. After all, it was either his life or concern for their relationship and with such a tossup - self-preservation always won out in the end. But this image somehow brought her love life closer to home for the man. It was an aspect he certainly wasn't prepared for. Even that, however, was nothing compared to what would happen next when his affinity was gone and her wits had returned fully to her.
