West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

It hadn't occurred to the man how disorienting it might be to appear within the confines of the antiseptic hospital. All that had mattered within those few moments was that his sibling needed him, that his nephew needed him and it was a role that the man had jumped to fulfill. He despised the fashion at which every facet of the hospital assaulted his senses, and yet, he hardly seemed to be the only one. He was all too aware of Tobias' adverse reaction to the foreign place though he hardly expected just how blurred the line between beast and human had become so very quickly. There was hardly enough time for the feline to intervene with the nurses' unfortunate discovery of this very fact, the beast instead stepping in on those tense moments after, his head gingerly brushing against Tobias' thigh as a firm and yet all too strong reminder that he was there - that at the end of this, everything was going to be okay. The man's vocal cords begun to vibrate in a low deep purr, quite clearly attempting to calm his companion though any progress he was making seemed to be lost entirely the moment his sibling spun upon her heels to push back the deviant boy with venom lacing her every syllable.

His ears pinned against his skull at the sharp lyrics, his emerald gaze drifting between the pair, knowing all too well that in this he was unable to step in and mend. Unfortunately, Tobias' response did particularly little to ease the tension within the ebony beast. His tail began to whip from side to side in irritation at the simple knowledge of Frost's continued presence within Nadya's life, despite the words of warning he had so sincerely spoke. His words had been dismissed entirely, ignored and if Tobias' accusation held any merit to it....he hardly even wanted to consider the possibility. The folds of skin around his maw begun to bunch, a hiss leaving the feline's throat and yet he was hardly given a moment's time to offer his own thoughts upon the topic before the feline form exploded from Tobi's figure, quite literally launching himself at the naked physic of Nadya.

It was instinct, to intervene, as he so always did. Nadya was family - his only true blood relation and as of such he so often came running at any hint that she might be in trouble. He ignored the fashion at which she so often and so blatantly rejected his words because she was all the family he had left. Tetradore froze as Tobias met his gaze, one paw dangling above the tiled floors and slowly, the panther accepted this inevitability, and slowly the large feline moved to sit. His vibrant eyes never once left the confrontation in front of him, on the contrary the pair had his full attention. He was all too aware of the energy that trembled within the air. He was too aware of the sound of Tobias' roar as it echoed through the hallways and he too was aware of the nearly submissive fashion at which Tobias regarded him when he finally saw fit to leave Nadya's side. The boy's words echoed within his head and yet, Tetradore hardly hesitated, knowing far too well that if he let Tobias stay, things would escalate out of control faster than anyone was prepared to deal with it. The presence of those creeping shadows was the only hint that was given of what was about to occur before the pair of men was simply.....gone.

On the other side of that darkness, Tetradore was greeted by the warm light of the Ark hallway. He hardly bothered to look behind him at Tobias, knowing well the boy was still there. "Stay here." It was the only words he spoke as he made his way into his bedroom, letting the shift overcome him in the processes. Tetradore hardly wasted time before going to the dresser, throwing on a shirt and wrestling with a pair of pants. He offered no words of wisdom or satisfaction to the spotted feline, his thoughts and goals entirely focused upon one singular direction - one path. It was time. As much as he hated to admit it, it was time. The second the man had managed to fasten the jeans around his waist, the darkness once again embraced his form, leaving Tobias alone within the Ark.

This time, however, rather than returning immediately to the hospital, the man allowed those shadows to take him to another familiar location - Nadya's own room. He hardly bothered to worry about what matched and what didn't, instead shuffling through her drawers to find something the girl could wear, knowing well her dislike for bare skin. It was only when he'd collected some form of an outfit that he returned to the Hospital he'd left her.

"Nadya." He spoke softly, approaching the girl with marked hesitance. Gingerly he handed her the folded clothing, a soft sigh still present upon his lips. There was no way that this was going to end well. By the end of the night, he was going to have to let go of his sister. His gaze darted elsewhere as he cleared his throat. "This can't keep going on, not like this." He started, his voice surprisingly...tender, "You cannot keep playing both packs, Nadya. You've placed yourself in a dangerous situation, even if you refuse to see it and that has directly caused tonight's events. It's time." Tetradore paused long enough to glance down at the woman, his hand reaching out to gingerly brush against her cheek. "You need to decide where you want to belong because you cannot be with us and with Frost. I will not let your indecision continue to put them in harm's way." He leaned forward to press his lips across her forehead in an affectionate gesture, "Micah is going to be fine ...this time." Tetradore offered in a way of reassurance.
