The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.
Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar.
Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

Kato Buhari
Had it been a different situation entirely Kato would have gotten on Edie about being non-helpful in getting herself out of the water. Later, surely, he will lecture her about her lack of swimming skills when getting on a boat. Now though as she was coughing up the water she had swallowed wasn't the time. Kato looked on with that new concern in his eyes, waiting in silence as he held back her wet hair for her to finish. A soft 'hmm' of acknowledgement graveled in his throat at her thanks. What truly surprised him was the way she buried against his chest with pleading words. He raised a brow, head tilting in confusion as he carefully wrapped an arm around her. "I'm right here, Dove."
Kato remained silent and still allowing her the comfort and time before he slowly extracted himself from her, "Wait here." He found where he had shed his clothes and slipped his pants back on before returning to Edie a moment later with his dry shirt. "Here." It wouldn't do much but it would be better than nothing with the night air against her damp skin. He rolled up the fabric in his hands and helped pulled it down over her head and maneuver her arms into it. His gaze surveyed the wound to her side before covering it with the shirt. He'd have to toss the shirt later as there would be no getting the blood stain that would set in. There was nothing he could do for the wood in her side at the moment. He needed medical tools to extract it and gauze to staunch the bleeding that would follow. It frustrated him that he couldn't end that pain for her right now. He'd simply have to get her home as quick as possible.
"Let's get you home." Kato easily took the lead once more, draping the arm of her uninjured side around his neck before scooping Edie up into his arms so she was cradled against his chest. He glanced back at the Ark as he carried her across the dock to enter the industrial area. Kato was half expecting the local pack to be charging out of the Ark. "What happened in there?" He didn't look down at her as he walked but the concern in his voice was still obvious. "Did they connect you to Frost's pack?" He had no idea that Edie had actually introduced herself as such to one of the members.
