West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

After they did their first acquisition of a cargo ship the process took longer and it was far more grueling than she thought it could be. After that pitiful first attempt she felt guilty for having it seem as if they weren't organized. The last thing she wanted to do was give an impression that her Alpha was not a good business man. Even though it was a first time for them and mistakes were made, she vowed to never let that happen again. Determined to be prepared for the next time she made checklists and flow charts, and researched the latest rule changes the city made. When Tetradore informed her that he would be doing another acquisition she was determined to make this go much smoother. It took about a month to do, something quite common, because the city liked to change their rules midway through their own process. However, this particular business owner was quite devious when it came to his deals, and each time she read the fine print she alerted Tetradore that the other man was trying to get out of a decent deal. After the final paperwork and the final contract with every signature was done, she scanned through everything meticulously. Her brows would furrow as she focused on the tiny print making sure everything was correct, not willing to go back and request another visit with the business owner. When it was all finally said and done and everything was completely correct, she nodded her head and offered her Alpha a small tired smile, handing him the paperwork.

It was the sound of a staff member coming through that caused her to lift her head, keeping a hold of the paperwork as he rushed out. Concerned she quickly placed the paperwork in their correct manila folder, placing it inside the top drawer and locking it, putting the key in the hiding spot she and the panther knew about. This was important documents that didn't need to be seen from the wrong people. For all she knew the scene in the fighting ring could be a set up. Sure that was paranoid thinking, but who was she know to know if she was right or wrong. Walking away from his room, she shut the door, noticing the entire placed seemed much darker. Puzzled she walked down the corridor and stopped just when she reached their two thrones. Quietly she stood at in front of their thrones, looking down as she watched Tobias standing over a Were that shifted back to his human state, clearly in much pain, and the familiar figure of Nadya. She had never seen Tetradore like this before and nervously, her fingers twisted around one another, watching the scene below. She was thankful that Tobias was not harmed nor the one in trouble, knowing only too well that if either of those cases were to be, she would be the one comforting, consoling him, and helping him work out what he did wrong and what he could do to make it right. Silently she watched as Nadya submitted to him not quite understanding why she would try to kill another Were in the first place, let alone even be in the ring.

She was well aware she didn't like the ring, she considered it a blood sport, but that wasn't what it was all about. It was a chance for any Were, of any species, of any status, to go in and prove their worth. Each Were was consumed by their other half, naturally needing the chance and a safe place to exhort their other side to do as Mother Nature commanded. It was heathy and it was necessary. No one came in the ring to kill, if they did, then it would be considered a blood sport. What Nadya did tonight was make true her reason to despise the fighting ring. She had been feeling the urges to release and enter the ring with her spotted companion, but she was unable to get over her on anxiety of it. With a heavy sigh she moved away the moment Tetradore began to take away the dark shadows. Moving down the corridor and heading down the stairs she walked passed her Alpha, flinching from him, feeling uneasy with him in this particular state. With everything being so quiet she looked around waiting for someone to rev up speed and get things running back to normal. Luckily Jackal entered the ring and started calling out bets for the next fight. Making an easy transformation the moment her grey paws reached the floor she headed for the door, walking down the plank and inhaling the salty warm air. When she made it to the bottom she looked up at the door expecting the jaguar to come as Tetradore demanded. Why he thought it would do Nadya some good to spend time with her making the rounds she did not know. Raven gave her space knowing quite well the jaguar never approved of her. She hardly spoke to her, the occasional polite pleasantries, but that was it. Though she couldn't vouch she could do the rounds herself perfectly alone, last time she did such a thing she was attacked â€" and the one pack member that didn't care was the one that had to go with her tonight. Quietly she waited not minding the way the wind ran through her thick fur, ready to go for a quiet run.
