The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.
Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar.
Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

Having to do patrol was wholly displeasing to the young panther although she could think of far worse tasks that she could have been given. The first night of being sentenced to a patrol with Raven had been rather slow and tedious due to her leg's injury. There had been the explanation of what pack lines had been drawn by her brother, though Nadya hadn't seen any reason for them. They were neither hunting grounds nor pack member homes so why it was important to protect abandoned warehouses or black market buildings was beyond her. But she had done her due diligence and in silence wandered the territory line. At least it had been true that Jackal would have a meal waiting for them upon their return.
Tonight Nadya had left the Ark on her solo patrol. She was still sore at Tobias for his trickery and subsequent punishment for having to be out here that she didn't wish to run with him. Her brother was also busy with Raven, pouring over some new pile of paperwork which Nadya, as always with the sibling's business, stayed out of. Jackal was supposed to accompany her tonight but she had slipped away before the fellow Hispanic man had finished his duties concerning the fighting ring. The man danced along the lines of employee and pack member that Nadya wasn't sure what to think of him. He wasn't part of the pack, they didn't share that same string that bound pack, but yet he was loyal to her brother and Nadya was sure if anything happened to Jackal that he would be cross. No, tonight, if Nadya wasn't going to be running with her brother then she wished to be running solo even though the paranoia of a certain blonde-haired man still tugged at the back of her mind.
With the grace born of her species, Nadya traversed along the top of the wooden fence posts separating the docks from the streets before scaling up the fire escape on the side of the building to the roof. It offered a good vantage point in all directions of this supposed territory. The panther's golden gaze looked on towards the distant city skyline, where she knew it was only a matter of minutes before it would truly come alive with the many supernaturals that called it home. Briefly she wondered how her business was doing and debated on going and checking on it though that thought was quickly pressed aside since she didn't want to stray far from the Ark just yet. Her gaze flickered back the way she had come to the looming mass of the Ark with the setting sun behind it. It looked like the sun was sinking into the ocean at the horizon, painting the sky gorgeous hues of purple, blue, and pink.
She should press on and continue the circuit around the warehouses. As long as she took a look around it would satisfy her punishment of patrol run but she had to finish the circle in order to say she had done her due diligence. It took some effort to pull her attention away from the sunset; they were truly one of her favorite things, and begin her descent back down the rusted metal fire escape. The slowly lengthening shadows caressed her ebony coat, welcoming her into the darkness and hiding her easily as she slunk along the narrow passageways. It wasn't until she had gotten nearly to the most northern point of the invisible territory line that any sound out of the ordinary reached her ears. Yips and barks that weren't entirely unfamiliar caused her ears to flicker and her body to press to the floor. Jackal? Nadya crept up to the corner of the weather beaten building to glance around at the source of the odd sounds.
