West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

Sebastian Ellingtonget close enough to have fun
but not enough to get attached

Sebastian could scarcely imagine remaining sedentary in one singular building for the entirety of his life. His own family's estate within London certainly had it's own level of elegance and yet, even so, the vampire had fled from his inheritance and everything that once was his after his death until his family had all passed away and his family's estate threatened to be sold. He could scarcely even begin to comprehend all that Dorian had missed locked away inside his castle, much less how particularly foreign this life must seem. It surely must have been daunting and yet, despite such, the vampire knew far better than to comment on such a wonder. After all, the fairy's ability to absorb the vampire's entire interest saw to it that the Englishman was entirely away at the unusual tenseness in his shoulders and even this slight hint of what his life had held. Instead, Sebastian entirely focused on coaxing the fairy out deeper beyond that rim of the beach and into the waves that lapped at their feet, the vampire entirely patience with the hesitance that marked his companion's features just at the edge of the water. That insight, as small as it had been, had certainly provided the vampire with far more understanding of his companion then perhaps others might have held. Immortality was, after all, a difficult thing to comprehend for those who had not sufficiently tasted it.

Nevertheless, the vampire's head bobbed ever so slightly at the fairy's astonishment, once he finally felt comfortable enough to make that final step. "It is, you must come back during a warm summer's day. It is fantastic then, from what I remember, at least. The cold is welcoming then." It wasn't often that Sebastian even mentioned his life before his death, that small comment far more than most received - and yet, he wished his companion the chance to experience that which would be no more than memories for himself. Dorian deserved that much, at the very least. What he didn't expect, however, was the way in which Dorian suddenly bent down to cup the dark liquid into his hands, the vampire's eyebrows furrowed ever so slightly in confusion. "Oh, don't --" The words left his lips too late, Dorian's own lips had already found his way to his hands to sip the liquid and slowly Sebastian's eyebrows furrowed, already knowing well what was coming. Despite that look of abhorrence upon the fairy's face, Sebastian could hardly help the chuckle that left his lips. "It is. It feeds into the ocean further up the channel. You definitely don't want to drink that. Water sources such as these have become....tainted over the years." The vampire stated, his gaze still settled upon Dorian despite the ease in which he had already moved beyond the liquid.

For a moment, Sebastian too fell into silence, his own gaze turned upwards towards the moon as he watched her pale face upon the horizon, so effortlessly noting the hours he had left of his waking life. Despite this, he hardly felt any immediate desire to spend it elsewhere, much less mourned the loss of the time he had already spent. Quite on the contrary, Sebastian had unexpectedly enjoyed his evening, even if it lacked many of the characteristics he would have herald as a successful night. Dorian's voice, however, stirred the vampire from his placid stillness, his features turning towards the man with a hint of inquisitiveness. Sebastian was all too aware of that uncertainty that marked his companion's lyrics. The hesitance stood out so starkly against the usual assuredness that so personified the fairy King, unsurprisingly so. In truth, the vampire was surprised that his companion would share the particularities of his affinity with him, it was a card so many held close to his heart. Few knew very little of what even Sebastian himself was capable of and vaguely, he couldn't help but to wonder if Dorian's interest in him might change if he knew the extent in which Sebastian had manipulated his own emotions on their first encounter. That was, after all, his eternal downfall - every relationship he built was on a bed of lies.

Still, despite the despondency of such a lingering thought, Sebastian could hardly deny how much he particularly enjoyed the sensation of Dorian's lips against his own, as fleeting as it was. For once, perhaps, Sebastian saw no immediate need to further encourage that 'game' with his own affinity, even though he knew it was well within his abilities to move this game from beyond that to exactly where the game would end. Rather, his indigo hued gaze dipped slowly towards the card within his hand, noting the address with ease. He knew the area well. "Je vous le promets."
