West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

As she explains to Tobias the moments they spent together at night on top of the deck she did not appear concerned or phased that the boy didn't seem to register or understand what had occurred. She told him, because she felt he deserved to know and not simply have everything swept away and under the rug. Holding his hand she squeezed it gently, in a reassuring way accepting his inability to remember. As he reclined backwards she looked upwards watching the colors slowly begin to fade to the familiar sky blue, sighing softly within the silence. Some couples would find the silence unnerving and uncomfortable, but for her it was completely the opposite. Many times they had been in each other's company hardly making a sound. The two of them content doing whatever it was they did together in complete silence. The others would be waking up soon, by now the two of them were in the kitchen, the boy always trying to be sneaky and eat the ingredients for breakfast before the lupine could complete the meal. As the ocean breeze picked up slightly causing some of the white puffy clouds to cover the sun partly, she leaned in closer to him, listening to his smooth breathing, her own breathing matching his own. When she asks the question his other side wished her to ask, her eyebrows furrowed in concern when a scowl and a frustrated look began to appear on his face. Thinking perhaps he forgot she released a soft sigh making a mental note to let his other half know that he did not respond. It is when he exclaims he knows that she sees his familiar lopsided grin, hearing his snicker. Patiently she waits for him to respond and what he says causes her heart to stop for a moment.

Some might think her heart stopping was being a bit dramatic, and yet she was hardly such. For someone like her, and everything she had been through, having someone actually choose her to be something imperative in life as a mate was an enormous deal. Raven was aware that Tobi's other side mentioned to her the night they had their first fight that he would indeed one day marry her. Even now she was still shocked that he would actually go through with it. She was more than pleased, more than happy, and greatly more than just satisfied. Words could not describe what she was feeling right now. Tobi didn't have to select her. He didn't have to keep his word. He could have chosen anyone else to be his and yet he took the time with her and decided to have her as his own. It felt wonderful to be wanted. Tonight she had already heard his other side declare his love for her and it was absolutely special and endearing in its own right, but his broken worded proposal was equally as special. Of course in his own fashion he did not ask her first, rather he proclaimed it as such, in his own fashion. No longer would she have to worry that one day he would leave her. No longer would she have to worry that one day he would tell her he didn't love her anymore, all those fears simply slipped away as the sun peaked through the white clouds, warming her pale skin. He did not ask her to marry him in human fashion.

They were Weres, first and foremost, and being his mate was just as important and equivalent as if they were married. Serafina sadly may not be able to create a 'Beauty and the Beast' wedding ceremony. The curly-haired woman didn't need to be showered with gifts or given lavish ceremonies or things. She didn't need to have the diamond ring on her left ring-finger to proclaim to the human world she was taken. The marks along her neck would do the job well. Not to mention she now belonged to a highly possessive creature...surely no one would dare try to take away what was Tobi's. With a wide grin she turned to lay on her side as her hand released his own, one hand moving to gently tuck some of his dark locks out from his eyes. Within his dark gaze she caught a subtle golden hue, letting her know that both sides were waiting for the answer, although surely they should know her answer by now. His concern about wanting her to be his mate today, tomorrow, the next day and the next causes the meek girl to smile even wider. She couldn't help but allow a few silent tears to fall as she lifted her head and nodded, giving him a gentle kiss before softly whispering her acceptance.

"Of course I'll be your mate! I'll always be your mate...for all the days Tobi. Every single day!"

Raven had no idea what was next once one proclaims they are mates. In the human world she understood that there would be a time and a celebration to take place, telling friends and family, and creating a ceremony where the two of them would have to dress in their best clothing attire. Yet he did not ask her in human terms to be his. He asked him in their natural state. She was sure they would need to say something to Tetradore, after all, he was their Alpha and he needed to know. She would happily tell Serafina and try to soften the blow that she wouldn't be able to create a ceremony. She was sure tonight regular patrons and guests would cheer and holler in delight when it was evident that the duo were no longer just dating...and surely Cat Ears would sulk in defeat. Raven knew that by being mates they were giving up on the chance to have children of their own, the lupine unaware that cross-species could still have children. Her family was her pack and where ever Tobi was. She curls into his side perfectly, grinning at him as she sees the golden hue in his eyes start to fade, pleased to see that both sides of him were able to see just how elated she was. As they laid side by side with one another, her arm encloses around his waist, as she kisses him once more, nuzzling him gently for a moment as she whispered softly to her mate.

"I love you Tobi."
