West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Black Market

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.

What You'll Find Here

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

The now-faerie queen wasted no time in brushing off her companions apology, hardly caring whether or not the woman assumed that she loved Aiden. She was sure, in some ways, she would have come to the same conclusion given the circumstances. And it wasn't a terribly far off assumption. The more time she spent with her boyfriend, the more she cared for him. Perhaps she did love him, in a way, though the words had not been specifically offered to him, not even in the time that they had spent curled against each others' naked forms. "I assure you Ivy, you're not necessarily assuming wrong. It's just... new." She gave the woman a playful shrug, continuing on down the street as though there was nothing wrong with what had been said. It was only when she felt that... anxiety... within her companion that she paused, watching patiently as she explained the boy that changed her. That same urge to protect the girl made Sam shake her head. She didn't want to scare her by telling her the same things that Frost had told her, that it was likely that this Neal would try to find her. "If there's anything I know about faeries, they're patient, and devious. I don't think you can ever be too careful. That being said, I can offer you what protection I can."

The faerie girl certainly hoped that the monarchy could help her find comfort. She was finding a home within Aiden's pack. Raven and Nadya being great friends for her. Dorian was even making himself a constant in her life, the annoyance she'd felt towards him originally giving way to a strong friendship. It was with that that she had had no hesitation in saying he'd join her in a monarchy. The girl couldn't help but question more about the girl, wondering where she lived. Was she homeless, like Sam had been? Was she able to feed herself? If so, she'd have to take her in. Samantha couldnt' stand to let her sleep on the ground.

It was a relief, of course, when the girl stated that she did, in fact, have a place to live. It may have just been a small apartment, but there was always something about having a place to sleep at night. Just like the crummy apartment she'd lived in before Aiden had purchased her a new place to live had been a sense of pride for the girl. It may not have been much, but it was better than the streets. Still, Samantha couldn't help but smile at the way Ivy visibly brightened at the mention of her greenhouse and the plants that she kept in there. She shook her head, letting out a small laugh. "Ivy, I'm not one to judge you about illegal activities. I'm not positive, but I'm sure everything that goes on in the Ark is mostly illegal. And the burlesque, while legal, isn't exactly the most... glamorous of jobs." She offered the faerie at her side a smile before she nodded. "I always liked plants. I grew up in New York City. I used to like trying to find secret gardens. Unfortunately I can't keep a plant alive to save my life."

It was the mention of Dorian that caused the girl to turn, a small smile working its way onto her features. "The first time he met me, I was wearing an outfit similar to yours. He thought I was a prostitute. I assure you, he's gotten better about that. He may still try not to look at you, but don't take that personally." She smiled over at the girl as she led her towards the apartment building that she called home. "We'll go inside and I'll go get him. He mostly hides out in his room with books. He's a bit afraid of the television still." She nodded as she led her towards the apartment that she shared with him, unlocking it and letting the girl in. She gestured to the couch before she turned. "I'll be right back." She moved easily, letting herself go up the stairs to knock on the door to Dorian's room. "Dori, open up please?"
