West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

A grin still warmly traced the were-King's features, the man entirely amused by this sudden change of events despite the perhaps callous methods that the Egyptian woman had employed. In truth, they hardly phased him much, his own morals perhaps as muddy as the sediment beneath the floating cargo ship. Pain, he knew well, often created an immediate reaction within individuals, bested only perhaps by fear. Still, the were-female was certainly intriguing to him. There were so very few women within his life that were perhaps as bold or hardened as she was. His emerald gaze lingered upon the woman and her slender physique as she made her way around the bed and himself to the threshold of the room though he made no immediate move to stop her as she attempted to leave. After all, she struck him as a decidedly independent woman - one whom was entirely self-serving, doing only what interested her best. It was a surprisingly refreshing persona, to say the least. You always knew where you stood with individuals like her, at least in his experience. Slowly, however, the monarch pushed himself from the pillar he so lackadaisical leaned upon, trailing after the woman in a leisurely pace.

Her words, however, saw the man pause, a small shrug crossing his shoulders at her mention of the fights. "It is good for business when I am present, it instills trust that the rules will be followed and the bets upheld. Otherwise, it does become incredibly dull some nights. There are very few who grace our ring that are truly....challenging." And oh how truthful that simple sentence was. More often then not, Tetradore only watched with bored indifference as those beneath him strove so fruitlessly for a title they would never have. They were but the peasants scrabbling for whatever scraps might be thrown to them whilst he, the gracious sovereign merely allowed them to think they made progress in their quest. After all, few held any true threat to the were-feline. The man was proficient in the fights, proficient in his abilities, and far too proficient in death. Still, Tetradore had to admit his curiosity at the hinted suggestion that the woman before him might be inclined to linger if something should so entice her. An adventure, perhaps? He could certainly afford a moment away from the humdrum that was his life.

"Around here, no, but...the harbor is a different story." Tetradore paused for a moment, his emerald eyes briefly glancing over the young woman as if deciding whether or not she was worth sharing his most recent want with. "Come on, I have something to show you and then you can decide if you're interested or not.." He gestured towards the door, leading the Egyptian woman through the labyrinth of the ship and towards a set of stairs that went upwards. Tetradore glanced only briefly behind his shoulder to ensure she was still following him before he began the ascent upwards. Eventually, the staircase flattened out to a landing which led towards the deck of the giant cargo ship. The man led her towards the edge, leaning against railing before pointing out over the harbor towards a single white speed boat nestled under a rather bright spotlight amongst others that were clearly of a lesser variety. "Do you see that? It's a 540 Sundancer. That single boat costs 1.8 million dollars. The man who owns it is an hydroponics consultant, he recently came to town for a shipment of cannabis seeds I secured for him from Canada, except he jipped me on payment. I want his boat." His gaze shifted slowly towards the woman next to him, already well aware that she had only just gotten involved in a business deal gone wrong. Would she want to get involved in another? "How do you feel about commandeering it with me, Askaree? It is a very nice boat." There was a small mischievous twitch to the corner of the man's lips and yet, this thrill ride was entirely up to Askaree if she wished to participate.
