West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

Really, the faerie girl was likely too kind for her own good.

The stuffed toy that Tobi presented her with had to be harboring the Bubonic Plague given its discolored fluff. She could feel the excitement that seemed to radiate off of the boy that stood in front of him. It was clearly a treasured possession of Tobi's given the battered appearance, and it was that alone that had the faerie reaching out to take the wheeled toy. She moved to sit down on the edge of the bed as she stroked the soft exterior of the toy. It had likely been a lovely toy at one point. But it was clear that the toy had been dragged around the entirety of the Ark based on the ragged appearance. It was only when Tobi spoke did she look up once more. A simper of amusement appeared on her features as she watched him explain that when he was good, Aiden rewarded him. And when he was bad, well...

"I am sure you are always good, Tobi. You've been nothing but kind to me, so far."

It was all she was willing to offer on the topic. Her thoughts had shifted to something else, something far darker. Perhaps Tobi was the last person she should tell. He was loyal to Aiden to a fault. There was no guarantee that what Samantha offered him would be kept secret. But then, maybe Tobi would help. It was her trust in goodness that had her opening her mouth in the first place. And it was the reality of Tobi's toys that had her asking if he had anything she could use to protect herself. The girl listened quietly as Tobi spoke in his fractured way, the girl shaking her head firmly. "No, Tobi. We can't tell Aiden. Please keep my secret."

Rising, the young faerie moved to follow him, her fingers nervously clutching around Charles within her hands as though the stuffed dog was a lifeline. She was unsure of where they were going, though she was especially confused when they went into the next room. She'd been in the room once before, when Raven had brought her to the Ark and allowed her the use of the shower. She knew that his room was also shared by Raven, so the girl let out a soft, audible noise of relief as she once more felt comfortable within the space. Any place that Raven felt safe was a place that Samantha could also feel safe, of that she was sure.

Samantha made no effort to help him - instead she stood near the doorway and out of the way - as he moved the bed. In fact, she was more interested in the bone that he had kicked away. She couldn't help but wonder what kind of animal it belonged to, and better yet, what had happened to it. It was only when the sound of the floorboard being lifted caught her attention did she move forward, watching as the... nail gun? was lifted out of the dark crevice in the floor and extended towards her.

Unlike Charles, Samantha made no move to take the tool, especially with the warning that it would kill a faerie. She was sure touching it would be dangerous, and as such she merely clutched Charles closer to herself. She shook her head. "How does it..." She asked, hardly having time to get the full sentence out before it was pointed towards the wall and the five long nails were fired in the wood. Samantha could feel the iron in it, and that alone was enough for her to let out a tiny yelp as she jumped back. "Tobi I..."

He wanted her to borrow that? He wanted her to use that? The girl couldn't believe the idea of it. She hadn't wanted something that would kill - that could kill herself as well. She'd merely wanted something that would keep her safe. The faerie equivalence of pepper spray, perhaps? The faerie girl shook her head as he attempted to hand it back, not willing to touch the dangerous weapon. "I don't want to kill them... I can't kill... I..." She shook her head. "I was looking for something less lethal?"
