West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Black Market

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.

What You'll Find Here

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

There seemed to be a myriad of conflicting emotions within the faerie queen as she stood on the deck of the ship. For one, she wanted to believe every good thing about the man behind her. A man that she was in a relationship with and one that she was growing increasingly fond of. She wouldn't use the word love, not yet, though she was unsure even herself how long she could withstand using that word. She wanted to trust him, to believe that he was good. And yet the events of the evening had seemed to prove anything but that. He had been fierce. Scary. Cruel, even. He had harmed a person that Samantha considered a friend, and yet he had been within his right as Raven's chosen Alpha to do so. Samantha would not get involved in the politics of his pack - even though Raven herself had been the one to suggest that their relationship alone would give her some high ranking within it - and as such it was not her place to be angry about what he had done to Raven.

But it was her place to be angry about what he had done to her, wasn't it? Samantha had not chosen him as her Alpha. No, she had chosen him as her partner, her boyfriend, her lover. None of that gave him the right to attempt to use his powers on her, and yet he'd done so. She'd thought that since that night in her bed, they'd had an unspoken rule not to use their powers on each other. And yet, here she was, cowering with fear to the man she was supposed to feel safest around. She knew, logically, that he wouldn't harm her. She knew that he cared - even if she did question it now - and she knew that he was protecting her as he'd fought the wolf down below on the ship. And yet, none of that made her feel better. Any efforts he'd made to make her feel safe by protecting her were lost in that single moment that his fear had been induced onto her.

It was those thoughts alone that had her not thinking as she leaned her palms against the railing. She knew better. She knew that touching any of the metal on the Ark would burn her. She was always careful not to touch anything, or to make sure her hands were covered if she had to. She knew that, and yet the events of the night had led to her stupidly reaching out as though she was human. She knew he would be frustrated with her, and she dropped her gaze down as his body stepped forward to grasp her palm and inspect the damage. "It's not that bad," She said quietly, though she made no effort to pull her hand away as he began to speak.

It was only then did she consider how little she actually knew of what had actually gone on downstairs. She had no idea why Raven had tried to attack her or Jackal, just that she suddenly had. She should have questioned it more, but all that Samantha could see were Raven's feelings. Now that he pointed it out, it made it so much sense that Raven had not been herself when she attacked the faerie. It was that alone that had the girl slipping her hand down to hold his, her free hand coming up to lace the fingers of his free hand. Her fingers gripped at him, holding him close to her. How she wanted to pull him in close and not let go, but the girl was well aware of the bruises that blossomed his chest. She still kept her gaze on their hands instead of his face, her fingers playing with his in a decidedly gentle fashion.

"It was stupid. I know you care about me. Of course I do." She said quietly. She knew she didn't need to explain that she knew that because she could feel it. He was apathetic always, and yet there were always small flickers of his emotions that seemed to pass on to her. She knew their relationship. She knew where she stood, and she knew that it made her happy. "I don't understand the workings of your pack. I don't... I don't need to understand. It's your pack. I won't interfere there. What happens with Tobi or Raven or Nadya is none of my business. But Aiden..." She lifted her gaze up to his. "Using your powers on me isn't okay. I... I am afraid of Them enough in life without... that..." It was perhaps the only time that she'd let on any indication of the horrors she'd been dealing with on her own. She had not explained why - more often than not, anymore - she found herself in his bed. She had not explained the way she woke up in the middle of the night unable to breathe. She didn't want to explain that she saw their faces everywhere, that those girls were after her, that she wasn't safe.

And she especially did not want to explain that Frost had suggested that he had something to do with it, because she did not want to believe it.

She shook her head, clearing those thoughts from her head as she looked up. "You are the person that makes me feel safe. And I'm fa... falling in love with you..." The girl halted her speech, hardly believing that she had let those words slip from her mouth. She closed her eyes briefly before she continued, hoping he wouldn't question it too much. "and I can't be afraid of you. So please, don't do that again." With that, the girl stepped forward, pressing her lips against his in a brief fashion before she stepped back, her eyes trailing to the bruises along his chest. "Come on. Let's go to your room and we'll get you cleaned up. A hot shower should help with those bruises."
