The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.
Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.
Bartender Raylin Chike
Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar.
Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

It was true, perhaps, that Dorian had come so entirely far in how he navigated the modern world. Months ago, when the wayward Fae King first made his way into Sacrosanct, the very idea of leaving him home alone made Samantha anxious. So many things were so decidedly foreign to him. The stove, the tap water, the electricity. All things that he had endless questions about and truly, Samantha couldn't fault him for his inability to understand, and yet it had made her so entirely nervous. The idea of Dark Hunters after him made her feel ill. So quickly had she become fond of him, and the idea of anything happening to him plagued her so often even if the man assured her he could take care of himself. The idea that he had met Raven was met with a bout of anxiety, though it was quickly washed away as Samantha remembered exactly who it was that she was talking to. This was her friend. The woman was patient enough to help Tobi through life (who undeniably had to be more time consuming than Dorian) and there was not a mean bone in Raven's body.
"I love him," Samantha replied honestly and without even a second's hesitation. And she did love Dorian. It wasn't in the same intimate way that she loved Aiden, and yet there was no denying the fondness she felt for the Fae King. Raven's assurance that he didn't call her a prostitute had the woman letting out a small sigh of relief. "I am very relieved to hear that. He's still learning... he really has come so far." She smiled to herself, thinking of the ancient man who had been so baffled by tap water and now could easily navigate his cell phone. "He's the first person that made me realize that faeries might be able to be trusted. He's got the kindest heart. I'm glad you got to meet him, really I am."
The notion of what would happen to the two groups was something that even Samantha had yet to consider. Truly, the idea that she might somehow be bothered to take action on it was something else entirely. The Monarchy was a big deal, and she wasn't discounting that, and yet it was so entirely separate from the relationship she had with the Were King. Even though she knew Raven wouldn't oblige her with an opinion - the girl would feel so out of place by it - Samantha still found herself asking the question of what would Raven think. Raven had never steered her wrong when she did give her opinions, and yet the girl was hardly surprised when Raven failed to supply her with one in this instance. "I'm sure we'll see when we get to that point, I suppose. I mean... we haven't even said 'I love you' to each other yet."
The Fae Queen was entirely genuine as she inquired about what would be happening within the pack this evening. The activities that happened amongst the pack during full moons were something that Samantha had never asked of Aiden, though she wouldn't doubt her curiosity. After all, she had listened to Nadya fret over the twins all week, and it was only natural that she would be interested in the cubs she had been told to treat as her niece and nephew. Raven's automated response had the girl puzzled, and she gave Raven her full attention as the woman shrugged and explained even further.
It was true that Samantha had been curious as to who had fathered the twins, though she had never asked that question aloud. So the idea that it might be Tobi made her mouth part in a soft 'oh' shape. She could see it so easily though in the twins' features. Of course, how had she not seen it before. Still, the woman's heart went at this moment not to the twins, but entirely to Raven. How would she herself feel if placed in a similar situation? And Raven was bound by pack laws that the woman would never go back on. Samantha shook her head, her eyes full of sympathy as she regarded the woman. "Raven, I am so sorry. I... I can't imagine what that must be like for you." She watched as the woman seemed to close in on herself and without thinking, Samantha reached out to brush her fingers along Raven's arm in an affectionate gesture. "I know it doesn't make up for that, but just so you know..." She hesitated, speaking words that even she knew was impossible. "If I had children, you would be one of my most trusted companions with them."
Samantha stepped back then, falling into silence as she watched Raven mindlessly touch the spines of the colorful books. Even without her empath power, Samantha could see the twinge of sadness in the Were girl. When she spoke again, for the first time Samantha thought her friend Nadya might have been a bit cruel. The command from the woman to stay out of it had the young fae pressing her lips together. She would oblige, and yet she didn't particularly like it. "I am sorry, Raven. You deserve better treatment. Nadya is your Beta, is she not? Does that not..." She shook her head, unable to find the proper way to finish the sentence. Instead, she turned her eyes towards the woman, the question falling from her lips being an entirely genuine one. "Have you and Tobias ever considered having your own children?"
