West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

A small glimpse of approval crossed the man's features as Tobias bounded back to his side from finding each and every plug in the arena of the Ark. It wasn't often those actual words of praise left his lips and yet, the pair had been nearly inseparable both as children and after their reunion as adults. He held every faith in his companion that Tobias himself would understand well his satisfaction within the boy. Still, he hardly lingered on the success before his sibling stepped away from him to so coax his companion to assist her further with her children, even if it was against his better discretion. Still, he allowed Nadya to try if only for the simple fact that at least she was finally giving him the chance rather than simply yelling as she had done previously. Tetradore himself was altogether dubious Tobias was capable of something as intricate as feeding the children, considering Tetradore had tried on numerous occasions to teach the boy how to properly use a fork without stabbing someone with it without any real success. Regardless, Tetradore was content to remain focused upon his own task at hand whilst the duo busied themselves with their own deal - the promise of cookies seemed enough to coax his best friend to attempt...well...anything. He was hardly oblivious, however, to the sheer amount of cookies Nadya had promised.

It was only at Nadya's return that Tetradore finally spoke up on his sister's constant paranoia of entrusting her children to Tobias' care, even as she held that baby gate against the wall. He knew well of her distrust of the father of her children, it was visible in the way she regarded him with increased hostility since that night to the way that she stiffened at even the muttering that left his lips on the topic. Her argument, however, brought little more than a small shake of his head. "Honestly, Nadya, even if you had been there, we can't know it would have made a difference. Their entire species exists to eradicate ours. There were more of them then there was of us and they come with their own powers and weapons. You should be grateful we made it out with what little harm did occur. It could have been much worse." Tetradore was, at heart, a terrible realist. His life had existed with little hope of optimism, the world crashed in on him with such dark despair that, to be frank, it was a miracle he wasn't more pessimistic in his worldly views. He hardly shared the same steadfast discontent his sister did at Tobias taking the children, in fact, the man felt relatively nothing at all on the topic. It had happened and was over with and all that mattered now to him was that they moved forward to attempt to piece together some resemblance of the family they had become.

For the moment, Tetradore was entirely content to focus his efforts on the baby gate, ignoring the mess that existed behind him. The squeals of delight were enough to bring a small ghost of a smile to his features, regardless of the cost of cleaning up that would surely come later. It was only when he finished screwing in the last of those screws that his sister's voice so distracted him, those emerald eyes glancing upwards at her as she uttered so softly and yet, for all his years over them both, in that moment Tetradore could hardly deny the distinct whine that left his lips. "You're going to make me give him my cookies?!" He inquired, leaning backwards to fall in an over dramatic fashion against the floor. After all, the gate was complete, his job was finished. He stared up at her for a moment before offering his sister a soft sigh. "I guess so." He grumbled, his eyes finally turned towards his companion as Tobias complained of the food Nadya was attempting to get him to provide to the children.
