West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

Samantha Cassidy

It was perhaps too late that Samantha realized the mistake that she had made in following the brunette girl into the warehouse. She might have previously thought that this girl might have been young. Naive to the ways of the faerie life as Samantha once had been. No, this girl was seasoned and experienced, and Samantha had made a mistake in following her. The Fae Queen's gaze remained steady on the other girl, her affinity so easily perceiving the emotions that wavered between distaste and distrust. Samantha should have known better than to stick her nose where it so clearly did not belong. After all, wasn't that blind trust what had gotten her into the mess that she was so currently stuck in? Still, she couldn't entirely resist the urge to introduce herself. To show the other woman that she had some sort of power within this city. What she hadn't expected was the almost dark laugh that escaped the other woman at Samantha's own words.

"Yes, I'm Queen. I..." She started, her eyes wary as she was so blatantly asked what court she hailed from. Court? What the hell did that mean? Her more human side seemed to show in that moment as she regarded the other woman with a blank stare. Unseelie? Courts? Even Dorian, as old as he was and having been born Fae, had never mentioned that very fact. She'd have to inquire about it from Troy, perhaps. Or maybe this girl - who still hadn't offered a name - would explain. She hardly wanted to appear weak in front of this stranger, and yet she had no idea what to say in response. "I... I honestly don't know what you're talking about." She said almost meekly, shifting on her feet.

As the other girl pulled out that bronze knife, the Queen's fingers shifted to close upon the hilt of the dagger she carried within her jacket. She didn't pull out that blade yet. No, for now she was attempting to maintain some sort of civility. After all, wasn't it a Queen's job to be diplomatic? The girl pursed her lips. "I'm of no threat to you." She said calmly. And she had no intentions of attacking this girl unless she was given a reason to. But that blade had her nervous. The idea of getting hurt made her nervous. Her eyes flicked up at the mention of seeing someone else around these parts, and she immediately shook her head. "No, I haven't seen anyone on the streets tonight other than you." She raised an eyebrow. "Sketchy sort? Exactly what are you getting yourself into?"
