The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.
Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar.
Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

Flashes. Sparks. In her mind everything was connecting and disconnecting at the same time. Images of human mundane life began to surface. The sound of an annoying buzzing sound coming from the clock that sat on her beside table. The scent of fresh bacon sizzling in the pan on the stove. The small jumped letters creating words and sentences in the page of a book. The feel of hand touching cotton fabric. The image of being around a blur of fast moving cars and people. The sound of laughter in the distance, the image of an abandoned swing set swaying back and forth. A sharp spasm of pain trickled down her back as nerves began to twinge from the invisible field of a bullwhip coming down and tearing her flesh. Those flashback images began to distort causing her vision to be dizzy. Whatever she was thinking from the past when in human form was slowly being drawn away. Instead it was being replaced with the scent of fern. Her hands were replaced with paws, her pads feeling the rough dirt. The sound of birds chirping filled her head. She was running...this she knew, but for reasons were unknown to her. As she tried to remember, her mind would click and then unclick, small things began to trickle in. Whatever reason she was running it was from something very bad, this she knew, for why else she would be running. As the sound of an annoying buzzing sound coming from the clock appeared, her mind's view was replaced with what she was actually seeing. Dark blue-grey eyes widen in shock as a bright light was coming towards her, her nose was filled with dirty scents of gasoline, smog, and dirt. That annoying buzzing sound from the alarm clock was replaced with the loud tone of the driver horn, as it drove the car towards her.
At the last second she dodge to the side, ebony fur standing on end when she heard the wail of another horn rattling her head, as another car ran past her. Scampering out from the streets, she ran down the sidewalk heading for the safety of the dark and the alleyways. It had been a long time since she last returned to human form. Something had jolted her into hiding into the only body she felt naturally comfortable in. Perhaps it was while she was jogging around the block, when she needed to feel the release her muscles in only a true fashioned way. Running on two legs wasn't cutting it and an extra two would be needed. Maybe she was being chased by a hunter and needed to use her ability in this other form to get away or protect herself. Whatever the case, she had been in this form for far too long and her mind was slowly dismantling itself. It had always been like this, this problem, as her parents called it was something that their noble bloodline carried. It was rare and this sickness was something that needed to be constantly controlled, but secretly it was encouraged by one foul creature with a truly dangerous mind. The werewolf was running through the dark alley ways, silent paws hitting the pavement, her ebony fur keeping her masked within the shadows.
Like all creatures she was attracted to food, but it wasn't the scent of fish that caught her attention. Rather it was the nervous screams and shrieks that tugged at her inner earlobes, causing her heart to beat faster as a low growl rumbled in her throat. Danger. Fear. Anything that screamed fear needed to be destroyed. It was a weakness. This was what she was taught and this was what she knew- weakness was never tolerated. As she got closer to the pier, she would slink lower to the ground, cunning eyes shifting back and forth as she watched the humans run away from something, the sight of the flashlight falling to the ground caught her attention. Curious she ducked her head in a curious position as she treadled carefully. Black nose wiggled and she went still as the scent of cat filled her sensors. The ebony fur bristled, as her thick uniquely designed grey markings stood on end. Her tail swayed side casually in a non-threatening manner as the waning crescent moon, combined with the pale-yellow light, revealed the golden spotted leopard that was reaching out for the fish. Staying on her grey paws, her head would tilt to the side, the fur along her lithe frame were lowered. One would assume that it was natural for a wolf to attack, but she was quite clever and right now she didn't feel the need to attack- not yet. There was something keeping her from doing such a thing. There was a silver of a trace of human thought that was coming forward, trying to break the strong hold of her feral mind. Leopards were not in the cities, this was not random. Blue-grey eyes watched the other carefully, as she struggled to speak to the other were.
"Not my fish...your fish...you scare men? More men will come...better hide."
Speaking to the other were caused a flicker of humanity to return to the girl, as that old warning from her human side began to whisper in her ear. The leopard was male and nothing good ever came from males. There was plenty of room between them, most of the fish on strewed on his side. Standing her ground, she would watch the other quietly, ready, ready to defend herself if needed.
