The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.
Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.
Bartender Raylin Chike
Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar.
Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

I honestly didn't think it would be possible for me to win. I mean I don't really know how to fight much less understand how my horse body works. Not my fault really. Although I guess I stood a chance against a ram. Well, maybe. I'm pretty sure I won only because I was irritated that he managed to knock me down to the ground. One thing I do know about myself is that I'm not allowed to be on the ground. I'm all heavy and leggy, and just well it's hard to get back up and stand on these long freakin stilts. Another thing I know is that I am very egotistical. Maybe it's because my creator is or maybe it is my species in general, but I don't like being embarrassed in front of others. Okay sure maybe everyone doesn't want to be mortified in public, but I really really don't want to be. Thank God everyone is moving out of our way, because I really don't want to be close to others right now. My pitiful request for alcohol at least will be answered. All right there Mister Kitty King, I see that quiver at the corner of your lip, har har go on ahead and laugh. At least that shows me he's capable of not being all grumpy and moody and all standoffish. And would you look at that top notch service. Not only do we now have a full bottle of Bacardi to drown ourselves in, but we got glasses and a seat too. If this is how a VIP person feels then I feel quite special.
You know I am happy to be sitting down now, because whatever sort of potion they gave me it seems to be working...I think. I don't feel as sore as I did before. Although I for one am very happy to have that drink. As soon as Tetradore is finished pouring the amber liquid in my glass I gingerly grasp the glass and guzzle it down quickly. I am still a bit hyperactive and anxious. Just trying to calm my nerves down and alcohol shouldn't be the solution for that, but in this case it is. I manage to throw the Alpha a weak smile, a little bit embarrassed by that particular act, and yet I manage to grab the bottle and pour it into my glass for a second helping. This time I take one small sip and look up innocently at him now. While he leans back in his seat, quite comfortable, I only pull my shoulders forward as I sit hunched over. I think he is right though about me not going into the ring any time soon. I really shouldn't press my luck. For all I know he could put a porcupine in the ring with me and I'd end up losing to it. Be a bit embarrassing for a horse to lose to a little animal like that. His question causes my head to tilt to the side in a puzzled manner. With a shrug of my shoulders, I shake my head replying with a chipper tone.
"A birthday party? I haven't had one of those since I was a little kid."
I tilt my head downwards as I look down at my glass, feeling a little bit morose. Being a little kid seemed so long ago. I remember my parents gave me a few birthday parties. I remember one in particular where my parents had my party in some play kid game place with the dancing mouse. The party hats were green, there were streamers everywhere, balloons, and the small pile of presents. Oh and the birthday cake! My parents couldn't carry a tune in a bucket, but oh how I wish I could hear them sing that ridiculous song now. It would be absolutely humiliating, but so worth it. With a shrug I wipe that sad look on my face and replace it with a thoughtful look.
"I guess I got presents. The horses were well-behaved, the customers were not a pain at the cafe, and I got a birthday card from the dentist."
I take another sip of my drink feeling myself start to calm down a bit. Absentmindedly I rub my thumb against the cold glass, flinching when I hear the roar of the crowd responding to whatever was going on in the ring.
"As for what girls do...I think most girls get wasted and do foolish things on their birthday night. So, I'm drinking and I foolishly fought in the ring, so I guess I should say thank you for making my birthday complete."
