West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

She could see them doing this a lot if she had anything to do with it. Who knew that something so human could feel so good? She could feel a little bit of sympathy for her father after having these kinds of moments with Alexander. How could he not miss having this intimacy with her mother and not being able to do that anymore? It didn't make it right that he blamed her for it but she could feel some sadness for him in these moments because finally she understood what it was to be completely and totally in love with someone. It was a feeling she didn't think she would ever fully understand but at the same time, she wanted to embrace every part of it. She wasn't afraid anymore and she could share everything with Alexander. She trusted him with her life.

She moved to touch his forehead and wipe away some of the sweat even as his calloused hand found her waist. She smiled, looking into his eyes where she could drown with bliss. When he told her he would never tire of this, she felt her heart about to beat right out of her chest. She never thought she would have a man like this who would want her so completely as he did. It was like a fairy tale coming true, like those books Raven used to read with her. She teased him back about more sex and he chuckled, a sound she would never grow tired of hearing. He asked if she wasn't fully satisfied and she smiled.

"For now."

Her eyes twinkled with promise of the future, of when that satisfaction faded and she would want to feel him close once again. She couldn't get enough of touching him, her fingers drawing circles on his chest as he moved to lay down on his side so he could see her. When she asked of dating, he seemed thoughtful for a while and she wondered just how much dating he'd done himself, at least recently. If he'd been alive as long as she was starting to figure out, wasn't dating not a thing years ago? She saw movies of the 1920's and such and it seemed like women wore dresses all the time and were married off at a young age. She didn't remember seeing any real dating, just bringing them flowers and having tea and chats with the family about what benefits you'll both gain from your marriage. It took away from all the romance in her opinion. She didn't recall many of the women ever actually looking happy about their groom to be.

But this was modern times and surely it was different. But would he know that? He let her go on about wondering what to wear and she swore he was laughing at her mention of corsets and leather. Was that not something you wear on a date? She swore she'd seen it in one of the movies. Though it could have been an assassination date or something like that. Shrugging it off, she listened as he brought up a few suggestions. Her eyes lit up a little when he said book store and apparently he wanted to see her in a dress. She smiled.

"That can be arranged."

She snuggled up closer to him. Suddenly his eyes twinkled like an idea just hit him then he asked what she wanted to do and she thought for a moment, chewing on her bottom lip in thought.

"I saw this flyer at the cafe about riding horses on the beach. Is that a fun date thing to do? I've never rode a horse before. Is it hard?"
