West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Black Market

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

That insistence that Brennan hardly knew himself anymore caused a small frown to settle upon her features, much less the fact that she was one of those few things he was so utterly certain of. A soft sigh left her lips, her tone entirely cross as she inquired exactly as to where he had vanished to in a blunt fashion. Serafina was hardly the sort of girl to put up with dancing around the proverbial bush. Rather, she had a habit of near demanding answers before she was willing to entertain the man for any real length of time. He could offer her all the sweet, honeyed words he had and yet, they would hardly be anything new to the young woman. There was no pleasantness that could draw that street hardened girl in any. No, she required actions, she required consistency - both of which the man in front of her was sorely lacking in. Her stormy eyes remained steady upon him as he continued, offering what little he could to an answer. Her eyebrows furrowed, that response far too vague for her liking and yet, she offered little as the way of response. Instead, Serafina pulled that umbrella overhead as she led him down those rainy streets and towards the comfort of her own sanctuary, all the while, the girl let him speak of those demons that so clearly haunted the far reaches of his thoughts.

That inquiry if she knew of what the creatures were prompted a slew of simple facts from the girl and yet, she hadn't thought such a line of inquiry might lead to the knowledge that he had made a deal with one of their unearthly kind, at least, not until he had near suggested it himself. The young witch was able to astutely connect those dots, inquiring as to what sort of exchange he had made so foolishly. To return here, to their city, to her - well that was a plot twist she hadn't seen coming. The girl halted near immediately within her tracks, staring at the man with those stormy eyes. "You traded a favor to a demon to return to Sacrosanct?" She repeated, staring at him with furrowed brows and pressed lips. After a moment of consideration, an almost exasperated sound left his lips as she turned to lead the way back towards her quaint little townhome. "You know you're going to regret that one day. They will ask of you the very thing that so made you want to return here. It was the way of demons. To take from you what had prompted you to call them in the first place. They like cruel twists of fate like that." The young woman spoke so matter-of-factly upon the topic, as if she had some innate knowledge upon those nefarious minds of the demonic.

Her gaze shifted towards the fellow at her side as he began to speak of the very origins of his disappearing act and yet, truly, she was unsurprised in the slightest to discover that it was her very own mentor that lay at the epicenter of that tale. He had always done whatever he deemed necessary to ensure she stayed at his side. He coaxed her with the notion of a warm meal and a comfortable bed when she had nothing. He coaxed her with the promise of magic and all she could become when she was sure she had darkened his door long enough. He coaxed her with some foolish notion of romance when her abilities remained dormant within her, and when his seducing eventually wore off on the jaded girl, he chased away anyone else who prompted her to think of a world beyond that which he had given her. No, sending him away to a world where she could not reach him was exactly something her mentor was capable of. And yet, even if she was willing to accept this readily, there was little hint of a satisfied revenge that she was truly capable of offering the man beside her as she led the way up those steps to the front door.

That comment that he deserved to suffer was met with a mere shrug, the girl truly unsure if he deserved it or not, much less if that purgatory really was 'suffering'. What was done, was done, or so she was assured. "Because he is already dead." She stated simply as she pulled her keys from her bag. "Though if there are any unfinished ends, I am sure we can convince him to speak to us." The young witch was, perhaps, strikingly vague upon her ability to do so and yet, that confidence within her hardly wavered in the slightest. Even so, even despite the claims that her mentor was at fault or that demons were involved, Serafina found herself needing to hear that tale for herself, the girl so prompting him to start from the beginning - it was a tale he promised her only once they were from the wetness of her element. She nodded as she shoved that key into the lock, quickly traversing the space to key in her keycode. Wherever he was, she knew Azrael would know that she was home by that simple action, the man's paranoia after her kidnapping had prompted a whole slew of new upgrades in the sake of her 'safety'. Either way, she turned upon her heels to face that familiar figure, commenting simply on her desire to be dry.

She supposed, truly, that she shouldn't have expected anything beyond that mischievous grin to light his features and yet, the charmingness of it all caught her off guard. A small frown crossed her features as she regarded him, the woman unable to help the fashion at which she rolled his eyes. Serafina watched as he bent down to pull off his shoes, that shirt quickly peeled from his figure to reveal that toned physique. The witch eyed his chest unabashedly, simply observing the way his body had changed as his fingers moved towards his zipper, those jeans hitting the ground soon after in a way that made a singular manicured brow raise. It was only once those socks were pulled from his feet that Serafina stepped forward to collect those sopping clothes, holding them to her chest as she moved towards the stairs. It was the sound of his voice that caused her to pause, the woman glancing over her shoulder at him in an entirely judging fashion. It would have been far too easy to say yes - to give into his roguish charm and yet...Azrael deserved better, didn't he? The Hunter had stayed with her even despite her assurances he wouldn't. He had made such strides in putting aside what she was...the least she could do was not cheat on him. "Oh no, you go sit on that chair and wait for me to come back. I know how you are, Brennan. I say yes and we go upstairs and tumble into bed and then you won't tell me anything at all. You promised me a story." She gave him a rather pointed look before gesturing slightly towards that dining room table, the woman quickly turning before he could say no to disappear up those stairs and, in turn, see about drying his clothes and getting something warmer of her own.
