The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.
Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar.
Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

years I've walked in the coldest winds
from sorrow and pain I find my strength
the more I hurt, the clearer I see.
Though Tetradore was rarely viewed as a decent mentor in any regard, it was that singular thing which was capable of drawing from the often stoic man that far more comforting side. Though that jolting stop of that car was...jarring to say the least, Tetradore was ever persistent in his efforts to show Tobias how to manage that vehicle. His words were gentle and reassuring as he urged his companion to try again, assured that this time the boy would be vastly more gentle than he was before. If nothing else, it would surely teach him a certain measure of tenderness in general, even if it was a ridiculous notion that such a lesson should come from a car. Nevertheless, he was entirely pleased when Tobias pressed his foot against that pedal, prompting the car to merely inch forward with a certain sort of cautiousness he had not had before. A soft sound of relief left his lips as he slowly leaned back within his seat, even despite Tobias' declaration that he'd certainly mastered driving. A small frown crossed his lips as that car began to circle and yet, it wasn't until at least the fifth one when the man was willing to admit to himself that it was unlikely they'd ever stop without his intervention. He reached over, correcting that wheel if only so they might start going in a straight line once again before making an effort to explain that concept of lanes.
It was quite clear that Tobias had only half comprehended that notion that those lines were meant to be followed as that car began to move forward quite on the middle of it. That notion too of dashed ones allowing the changing of lanes seemed to prompt a sort of weaving he hadn't quite anticipated. His features wrinkled ever so slightly and yet, he could hardly blame the man for his loose interpretation of that topic. He'd grasped the general jist of it, after all, Tetradore merely hadn't explained those ideas in enough detail. Even so, he was willing to let that slide for today's lesson, this a fight he'd surely take up next time. Rather, for today he was entirely content to at least get the boy to stay on that road of sorts, that sharp bend in the road ahead of them would certainly be their first road bump of sorts and yet, as long as he used that line to guide him, surely Tobias could manage it. Even with that faith in the boy, Tetradore still found his hands gripping the edge of the seat tighter as they made their way closer and closer towards that line, his emerald eyes switching from that road to the boy at his side and the positioning of those hands upon the wheel. He was going to turn....wasn't he?
He hardly expected that abrupt end to the asphalt as they went into the grass, that bumpiness certainly far less comforting than he liked and near immediately he reached out to grab that wheel, turning it sharply as he tore it from his friend's grasp and, in turn, steered them back to the smooth paved road beneath. It was only once they arrived back to that starting point that Tetradore commanded they stop. In that momentary reprieve his own breath was far more jagged than it should have been, thanks to that near adrenaline that ran through his system, not that they had ever truly been in any sort of real trouble. They had a ways to go before they hit the fence and the road beyond and yet, it had still surprised him all the same. Even so, Tetradore found himself falling back into that seat, taking a single deep breath before he suggested that Tobias try it again. Those hesitantly uttered words drew those vibrant eyes but briefly towards his companion before a small shrug crossed his shoulders. "It's okay, we were all bad at it our first try." He stated, clearly attempting to reassure the man. He gestured forward quite expectantly, waiting for the boy to coax that car forward.
His own hand tightened upon that handle on the door as the vehicle began to move once again, making it's way towards that turn that had thwarted the deviant his first attempt. The car slowed immensely as they began to creep closer towards that turn, as if Tobias hardly had his foot on the accelerator at all. His gaze slowly shifted back to the boy as that wheel ever so slowly began to turn in Tobias hands. Very....very.....slowly. Well....at least he was certain it wouldn't end the same way as it did last time. He leaned back, his hand releasing from that handle on the door as that vehicle continued to move at that same slow pace, that turn finally completed several moments later. That near glee upon Tobias' lips prompted a chuckle on his own, his head shaking ever so slightly. Tetradore reached over, ruffling the younger man's hair ever so slightly, "Yeah, you did, good job Tobias." He commented, entirely willing to praise the boy. He watched as Tobias allowed that car to move forward, shifting towards that line once again.
Those words that abruptly left his friend's lips, however, near immediately drew his gaze, his own eyebrows furrowing ever so slightly. His friend? That was...odd. Tetradore didn't have many friends, not really. He had his array of business partners and associates and those he was courting for the pack...but friends? That suggestion that his friend talked funny only further seemed to prompt a sort of consideration within him before he turned briefly towards his companion. "What friend?" He inquired, entirely aware of the possibility to whomever Tobias had met had hardly been a friend at all. Unless that Frenchman had decided to check up on him but....he hadn't seen him ever since his escape from Risque. That sudden change in topic left the man baffled for a moment before he slowly looked up and at the rearview mirror. A small frown crossed his features in consideration before he slowly nodded. After all, Tobias had mastered the art of reversing in those bumper cars, surely that skill must transfer over to this, no? "All right, you need to stop the car, put your foot all the way down on the break. We can't change directions in the middle of going." He waited until this was done before shifting the vehicle in reverse. "Go very very slowly, Tobias, cars move differently when they go backwards then when they go forwards so for now....just try to go straight." It was a lofty goal, surely, but it couldn't hurt, he supposed....maybe.
