it's over, i'm through
I saw you standing there and I knew I'm done for
His sibling's words had weighed heavily upon the were Alpha's mind, even if the man had failed to voice those concerns of yet to any, much less Nadya herself. Days had passed since he'd seen his sibling and denied her that contract she'd so foolishly thought he would sign. Though he'd certainly kept a lookout for Henry in the time that had passed, it had become decidedly difficult of late for the man to balance those responsibilities as Alpha, that ever growing rift between himself and Nadya, that faux war with Frost, and the return of his vampire Mistress. Tetradore was exhausted - physically, mentally, and emotionally and yet, he was making an effort all the same to fix everything, as time consuming as it was. The moment Henry stepped into the Ark that evening, Tetradore had been alerted, thanks to the ever diligent and loyal staff he employed. In truth, he had been almost hesitant to engage the man, almost concerned that Nadya's words would be confirmed and this would result in yet another thing he had utterly failed at. Not that Henry didn't have a reason to dislike him. In fact, the man had every reason and yet, that connection between them had created some sort of emotions within the stoic man that he wasn't quite sure how to handle.
Tetradore made his way from the privacy of his own suite, considering that very....peculiar....affection he had for his own Vector. It wasn't quite like he wanted to strip the man of his clothes but there was some sort of undeniable emotion there. It was a possessiveness within him, one that was almost akin to how he'd felt regarding that young fae Queen he had dated some time ago. A soft sigh left his lips as he leaned against the railing of that balcony. His emerald eyes fell upon the figure of that young man he was hunting for and yet, Tetradore was content to simply watch him for some time as Henry settled at the bar. He had been trying to keep Nadya and Frost away from Henry, the sheer thought of the man abandoning him to join that opposing group was vastly more painful then he was even willing to consider. His fingers reached up, pinching at the bridge of his nose. God, was this how Frost felt about Calliel? Was this...normal? This was exactly why he'd never wanted to change someone, it brought far more with it then he was ready to contend with. Still....it was better to get this over with, wasn't it?
The were-King made his way down those steps, moving easily through that crowd that always seemed to part for him alone. His hand rested gingerly across Henry's shoulder as he moved to the man's side, one elbow rested on that bar top. "You busy or...can we talk?" He inquired, even though Tetradore still wasn't certain what he was going to say to the man. After all, it wasn't like he could just beg for Henry to like him, how pathetic would that be? Still, there had to be something he could do to ease this....rift that apparently existed between them without his knowledge.
