West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Black Market

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

No one else quite understood what Raven had gone through most of her life. No one had taken the time before to show her that being feral didn't mean she could still live a functioning and happy life. Maybe if someone did she wouldn't be trying to play catch up. The she-wolf wanted nothing more than to be accepted by others. Even through the abuse Raven first had to learn how she could accept herself, faults and all. Once she did that she managed to connect more with her other half and understand it. Of course there were many times when she was incapable of keeping herself in line. Even though she felt a bit more comfortable being around others, even if she went feral, she knew Tetradore and her mate would help keep her line if something were to go wrong. When she was alone and would go feral, she realized she could understand that part of her, knowing why it was doing whatever it wanted to do. It was difficult to hang on and urge her feral side to do or not do something, but after many times in doing so when it occurred, it became a bit easier. But just because she could cope with it didn't mean she had all the answers or she had it all down perfectly. It still took a lot of effort and time. The road was long and difficult, it wasn't easy, but she was living proof it was possible. His concern that he would shift was answered with a factual statement. He was turned into a Were and by what she knew of their kind he would only be able to shift under a full moon unless the Alpha was around to assist him with it. With a silent nod she waited patiently for him to attempt to connect with his unruly half.

"It's okay Henry. He's in there, but it might be a bit hard since the moon isn't full."

It was possible. After all they were more connected to their other half when it was a full moon. Although perhaps his feral side simply was being dormant, because it wasn't triggered. Raven had no intention of poking and prodding him, to get him uncomfortable or scared, all in order to bring out that wild side of himself. There had to be another way to get his other half to come up. She could try to enter his mind and see if she could find that other part of him, but Raven had never done such a thing before. It was far too much she was comfortable with. Perhaps if she was feral herself that my draw his other side out. After all when they were playing together along the beach she could feel her other half wanting to come out all because of him. Maybe it was surprised that there was another similar or maybe it was upset and felt challenged. She couldn't find out not with Tetradore and Tobias helping her stay in check. Staying quiet for a moment she pondered just what they could try. Raven had never done this before. This was new for him, but it was really new for her too. It was exciting to know she wasn't alone.

"I don't want to reach inside your mind to find him, because that might trigger my own, or it might make him upset. I know for me my feral side would take control a lot of times when I needed to be safe. Can you remember anything that happened when you went feral? Try thinking about the surroundings, were you with someone, were you home or in a strange place? If it's too personal or you don't want to tell, me, it's okay."
