The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.
Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.
Bartender Raylin Chike
Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar.
Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

Was she supposed to feel different? She didn't really feel any different. The soreness had abated but she was wondering if it was possible to get addicted to that feeling. The feeling Henry gave her when they mated the other night...she was already looking forward to the next time, though she had no idea when or how that would happen again. She didn't know if she could bring herself to go to Henry like that again. They weren't a couple. They cared about each other, but it was just as friends. He was attractive, no doubt, but she could tell he loved someone else. He just seemed sad all the time and thoughtful, like he was a million miles away. She wanted him to be happy again and hoped whatever was keeping him from whoever it was he wanted to be with, that it would fix itself soon. She had asked Henry to show her what it was like to mate as humans and he did just that. He was slow and gentle with her and she was forever grateful. It's not like she wanted a relationship with him or something. He was her friend, nothing more. Did she even want a relationship? Probably not the smartest idea. It's not like she had many friends to begin with. Speaking of friends, she was looking for some girl time, as pitiful as that might sound. Miyako seemed to be busy with college and she didn't really talk to any of the girls in Frost's pack so that left her pretty limited. She thought of the only female were she knew, Frost's girlfriend/Tetradore's sister, Nadya. They'd only met once but she seemed pretty cool. Now was as good a time as ever to get to know her, right? She wasn't sure exactly where the female panther was staying but she figured since she left Tetradore's pack and was dating Frost that she should be sticking close to his pack but she hadn't really run into her much at the house so maybe she had her own house? That didn't leave her a lot of options but she had to start somewhere so she started walking on the westside. She used her animal senses to try to pick up a scent and when she was pretty sure she smelled female panther, she followed it, hoping there wasn't a whole lot of female were panthers in Sacrosanct. |
