The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.
Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.
Bartender Raylin Chike
Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar.
Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

How delighted the woman was to see herself getting under his skin, to see the anger that so boils to the surface in his eyes. In all honesty, she was having fun, enjoying the way she was getting lost in this little game they played. It helped her ignore reality, forget who she was and where she came from and what she did for a living. It was a moment of reprieve in her shitty life and though Lazarus didn't know that, she was okay with it. Vhalla would rather have people hate her than like her, merely because she was good at letting people down. So, when he shoots back those snide remarks, the disdain practically dripping from his lyrics, Vhal is entirely pleased with herself that she managed to get him so worked up. The man truly matched her when it came to anger and it was almost relieving to see someone hate the world and everyone in it as much as she did. It made her feel... less alone.
Though, she can't help the subtle stiffening that happens along her spine when he declares he was in search for cheap entertainment. He didn't know and yet she can't help but allow her own rage to boil to the surface, to only flash in her eyes briefly before she calms it once more. "Purchasing women is not what I would call entertainment," she says a bit dryly as she regards him with a dead stare. "I would have been fine if you hadn't suggested you buy me for your pleasure," she hisses at him, feeling that anger well up again though she's quick to stifle it, bringing a hand up to brush a few fallen strands out of her face. "Forget it, let's train," she states, bringing the conversation to a close. She hadn't meant to show him how much it bothered her, his choice of words, yet, she couldn't help it. When you were sold off to Ivan's friends for entertainment and pleasure, it tended to strike a chord deep within the young woman.
Quickly brushing the thought away, she would not allow that damn vampire to intrude her thoughts more than he already did. Calming that war that raged through her, she turns to face the man, planting a hand on her hip as she regards him blankly, "It's just as much your fault as it is mine," she states blandly, not apologizing but at least it was something. Finally, she's able to push him over that edge as he stalks over to her, taking his sweet time, though, it hardly bothers her, she had gotten what she wanted and as he stands before her glowering, she casts him that pretty smile. She's entirely pleased when their conversation shifts and he is finally making the first move to attack her. It's far too easy to dance out of his way as she watches his eyes give away his move, that smile fading from her face as she inspects him fiercely. Calling out tidbits of advice, she can see that uncontrolled rage burn through him. It made him sloppy. She could fix that, she had been exactly like him at one point, allowing the anger to take over, to blind you. His snarling response doesn't phase Vhalla as she darts in and jabs at his side, that grunt so escaping his lips.
They dance around each other for a time before Vhalla darts in, ducking under his arm and panting a hand on his back as he stumbles away from her. That rage that so boils in his eyes has clearly snapped something inside of him and she can practically see it happen. Brows darn downward in concentration, "Use your anger as a weapon, don't let it run you. Forge it into something you can use," she tells him just as they jump back into it, her dodging another blow only to feel herself stumble slightly, wincing as her barely healed wound tears just slightly. A grunt escapes her lips and it was just enough to slow her down that she doesn't see the punch coming, landing squarely on her wounded side as the wind is knocked out of her. There is surprise registering on her face for only the briefest of moments. It was something she would have done in a fight, not particularly caring if it were a cheap shot or not, she merely hadn't realized the man had it in him. And in that brief moment of distraction, she isn't able to balance herself before the sweeping of his leg, similar to the move she used on him in the bar, barrels for her own legs, taking her completely off her feet as she falls hard to the ground.
The air escapes her lungs as she lays there dazed for a moment. The man comes into view a moment later, her blue eyes blinking up at him only being torn away by the searing pain in her side. Wincing as she sits up, she takes one hand and presses it to her side, that silver blood staining her shirt as the wound had been torn open again. She inspects it for only a second before her icy gaze turns on him, delight so dancing there rather than anger for a change. She even offers him a real smile, tentative, but real nonetheless, her eyes crinkling around the edges as she releases a wheezing chuckle, "That was fantastic, talk about a cheap shot," she laughs again, though there's no animosity in those words. "It's been a long time since someone managed to take me down by using my own moves," she smiles up at him as she pants in between words, "Let me change this bandage, I want to go again if you're up for it," there's almost a touch of hesitation as she glances up at him, "I can help you, you know... with your anger."
