The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.
Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.
Bartender Raylin Chike
Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar.
Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

The very idea of losing herself in the Ark at such a dastardly fun game altogether delighted the young panda, her grin almost widening at that giggle that left Alexis' lips. She could hardly help that almost enthusiastic nod as Alexis suggested that she and Raven would surely have to test that theory. "You'll have to let me know how it goes, okay?!" She insisted, unable to help that giggle at the idea of a whole pack of weres playing in such a fashion. Man, they must have the best pack! Her attention, however, hardly lingered long on that party game as she noticed the almost peculiar fashion at which the two women seemed to be eying those balloons. She had never seen anyone stare at that helium-filled latex with such awe, and she wasn't even from around here! These poor girls were so birthday deprived! Maybe she'd have to find out when Raven's birthday was so they could have another birthday event! Maybe they could even play those birthday games she hadn't introduced them to in their home. That sounded like fun, wasn't it?! As it was, Abigail was terrible at keeping a singular train of thought for very long. Her attention turned abruptly towards those presents at the very mention of those little 'surprises' that Abigail had for her.
The girl bounded towards the table, picking a very special one from the bunches of books she had picked out for her friend. After all, reading was the one thing that the pair had in common and it was always exciting to share a much-loved book with someone else! Abigail handed that first present towards her friend, watching as Alexis ripped that wrapping paper from the present as if it were Christmas! And yet, she supposed that birthdays were kind of like Christmas! A warm grin crossed her feature at that glimpse of delight upon Alexis' own, her head bobbed at that word of thanks, fully allowing the young woman her own choice of the next one from that small pile. It pleased her, truly, that she had picked at least one Alexis had seen before, much less had some interest within, the girl almost unable to help that sound of glee on her lips. "Oh! You'll absolutely love it, I promise. The ending is like....the best." She insisted with a measure of enthusiasm. She watched as Alexis unwrapped each of those books, entirely assured that once she started on that newfound pile of reading material, she'd certainly enjoy it.
That sudden hug was wholly unexpected and yet, Abigail fully embraced her companion, that girlish giggle echoing from her mouth. She hardly protested as Alexis' attention turned towards Raven. After all, half the reason she had purchased such books was to give the two women something to do together once again. Her friend had certainly spoken highly of those evenings she'd spent with Raven, learning those new words. It was only at that insistence that this birthday had certainly been the best, that her attention turned back towards Alexis. Her hands clasped in front of her. "Yay!! We'll have to make next year EVEN BETTER." She insisted, entirely already considering how they could take that little party even further next time the trio got together to celebrate.
