West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

Serafina could hardly help the soft snort that left her lips at the sheer notion of those ebony ravens becoming something of a calling card for the woman's presence. The theatrics of such were far more flamboyant than the usual demure woman seemed to prefer and, frankly, she sincerely doubted such vials would be put to use in such a fashion. Still, Raven seemed to be in such a good mood that the young witch hardly saw a reason to ruin it with reality, the girl merely instead agreed with a small bob of her head. "You could." She replied, flopping back on that wooden stool with a soft sigh. She'd been so diligently working on crafting those butterflies as it was that now she found herself almost tired from the magic she had coaxed to life, and thus, expended from her own internal stores. She hardly complained, however, not when Raven had brought lunch for her. The action alone was enough to bring a sense of suspicion. In fact, all of this was rather peculiar and atypical of her relationship with her familiar thus far. For the moment, Serafina was simply inclined to watch the woman with marked cynicism as Raven cleared her workbench and set out those very containers of that freshly cut fish.

It hardly took much prying and prodding, however, before the truth of Raven's visit to come pouring from her lips with such clear excitement as that hand was quickly extended to her. Her fingers reached out for it as the young woman inspected that ring, only to provide her companion with a small utterance of approval. Really, the simple ring did suite the woman quite well, her fiance had done quite the good job. Her eyebrows rose ever so slightly in judgment at that sudden insistence that her significant other had bought the ring rather than stolen it. "I wasn't aware he tended to steal things." She responded in a rather blunt fashion. After all, Serafina had only ever met the leopard once, quite a long time ago before, she was sure, Raven and him had been an item at all. He'd been running around with some Hispanic girl at the time but the encounter was so brief it was hardly even worth mentioning. How big of an accomplishment purchasing a ring was for the man was wholly lost upon the young witch. Still, Raven seemed happy all the same and so, Serafina was hardly inclined to intervene with any further word of disappointment on the fellow. Quite on the contrary, it was that simple utterance of 'yes', that fell from her lips near immediately afterward.

That near girlish squeal saw her gaze widen as Raven quite near launched herself at her in an enthusiastic embrace, one that left the witch standing there in surprise before slowly shifting to return it. Those soften whispered words cause her forehead to wrinkle ever so slightly, her lips pressing together and yet, Serafina was almost unsure of what to respond with. She had never been the terribly emotional time, the girl often more inclined to simply close herself off entirely to such feelings. That wasn't to say she did not feel them but...this sharing of such sentimental words were not her forte, particularly when their relationship was rife with rockiness. "Um....don't worry about it." The girl responded with a small shrug, only to release her companion but a few moments later. Her attention turned near immediately back towards the food in front of her. She plucked those eating utensils from her workbench only to pick another piece of that sushi and shove it into her mouth.

Her steel-blue eyes fluttered towards her companion as Raven dug through her phone, looking for something. She hardly expected it to be passed towards her only to be rewarded with pictures of the newly engaged couple all dressed up for photos. The pair certainly cleaned up nicely, she supposed. Her fingers flicked over the screen, filtering through them all. "You both look really happy, you're a beautiful couple, Raven." She responded with those words she knew she was supposed to say, handing that phone back. Really, they hardly looked any different to her than any other newly engaged couple - all sickeningly sappily staring into each other's eyes and all that. She'd seen it hundreds of times before and rolled her eyes at that sort of behavior a thousand times over. Thank God Azrael didn't expect anything like that from her. Still, she wasn't the type to spoil such a happy occasion for her friend, the woman instead content to keep her thoughts to herself as she listened to those plans for that wedding. Her head bobbed slowly, "Sure, just let me know when you want to go dress shopping. There's quite a few boutiques in the East and some fancier ones in the North." The woman responded before putting another piece of sushi in her mouth. Hell, if someone else was paying they might as well see what those richer stores had to offer, right?
