and the stars in their orbits shone pale through the lightof the brighter, colder moon
Nadya's urge to fight with Tobias only grew, feeling irritated with his very presence which was rather unusual since it generally required him to talk a lot more before getting to her this much. Perhaps it was just the chaotic bursts of pain he was creating and his inability to understand that Raven was the one having to absorb the remaining of it. It was a blessing that Raven shifted back to her human form as Nadya's own fritzing power, sensing a rift between the two packmates, was combating the upheaval by manipulating the air around to re attract the two, to reinsure the pack bond remained intact. Raven stepping between them commanding they remain apart and to calm down distracted both Nadya and Tobi's unreliable powers.
Though it only caused Nadya to blush a certain extent at Tobi's retort to Raven...that she liked Tobi touching and being rough with her. Of course Raven was only talking about the stitches but Nadya understood that Tobi was airing their other current rendezvous to Raven. "That's not what she means! Don't...say that." Nadya's response was more a hushed hiss of sorts to Tobi. She certainly hoped that he had said anything to Tetra and that was why she hadn't seen him in so long. If her brother had left her again because of this confusing turmoil she was going through with Tobias at the receiving end then she wasn't sure what she was going to do. Pack was pack but family was stronger, it would be the end of her. Nadya let out an exasperated sigh as Tobias became distracted by the food and hurried off allowing Nadya to relax once more for Raven to fix the ripped stitch. She could hardly bring herself to care as she watched Tobias inhale not just his set out plate but everything left on hers and what remained not on the floor from Raven's. He was like a black hole when it came to food.
Raven finished patching Nadya up shortly before Tobias took his last bite and returned to the two women. "I can be calm just fine if he stops being so weird." Nadya grumbled slightly, still irritable from Tobias leaping at her while she was injured. Raven was right though, the pair needed rest if their bodies were going to be able to heal, the Were healing only able to heal faster than a mere human not near instantaneous like a vampire. Tobias seemed eager at the prospect of rest and more than happy to show Nadya through his hideout to the hammock he called a bed. She slowly followed behind him, her gaze finally taking in the armory with the multitude of weapons. "I'm surprised you let him around this stuff- that he hasn't hurt himself or someone else." She commented back to Raven. Nadya knew how oblivious Tobias was to weapons and should he get a hold of a gun he'd probably look down the barrel and end up shooting himself in the face.
Nadya paused at the railing that separated the catwalk from the hammock that hung suspended a few feet away, raising a brow as she watched Tobias gracefully climb into it. "I do not sleep with wolves." There was no malice in her tone, a simple matter-of-fact that no matter what she just wouldn't feel comfortable sleeping beside a canine. Her own unease with having to sleep in a foreign place was enough that Nadya shed the remaining piece of the clothing she had on and shifted. Due to the position of her wound there wasn't much change anatomically so there was only a brief stretching sensation at the site before the black jaguar stood in place of where the young women once was.
Her graceful feline form took her over the railing and into the hammock, her added weight causing it to swing slightly back and forth. The hammock was a good size and sturdy enough to hold a great amount of weight but Nadya was hardly keen on sharing. Her sensitive nose already caught the scent of the curly-haired woman's in it and it bothered her, she didn't want to sleep in a place that held the scent of non-pack. Nadya's form curled around Tobias, her tail wrapping around him before she settled onto her stomach before rolling over onto her side, sprawling and rubbing herself along to rid the canine scent with her feline one. With at least some food in her stomach and comfortably settling into the makeshift bed, sleep would come in no time at all.
