West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

None Of It Has Ever Satisfied My Soul

"Stalker? Oh dear... This escalated quickly. And here I was, just being a gentleman."
Gideon thought to himself, as he shook his head at the words from the woman.
At least he would accomplish his goal of not having a poltergeist following him around.
And the exchange of services, would mean Gideon would have made an alliance of sorts.
This was good for business indeed. He would just have to make sure he didn't muck it up somehow.
Gideon ruffled his brow as he followed the witch to her storage unit. He kept watch around every corner, as this was simply an instinctual reaction for him.
It just goes to show that old habits die hard... Though taking precautionary measures was hardly what Gideon would call habit.
This what just what he had been taught as an assassin; Hell, it was the first rule that his father taught him.
"An assassin is always aware of the world surrounding them. They make sure to look and listen around every corner."

Those words rang in Gideon's head, like his father was standing next to him. Not that this was the first time this had happened to him, in regards to thinking about things in the voice of his late father.
But, this was hardly the place for him to be caught up in his own thoughts when he had to be aware of things.
He knew this witch wouldn't pull anything on him, but he still kept his guard up. Ready to make a move at any second, should the one of the many "worse case scenarios" happen to rear its ugly head.
For an assassin like Gideon, it was normal for him to have all these thoughts and outcomes dancing in his head; Playing out like a movie scene each one.
This, is what set him apart from many other assassins in his day and age, and the assassins of today for that matter.
He always made sure, he was one step, or even several steps ahead.

As the two wondered the warehouses, Gideon looked at each one with a curious eye. Most of them had locks on them, and probably for good reason too. Who knew what people had stashed, or hidden away in these metal structures.
The thought of curiosity did happen to spring into the Greeks mind, but it was quickly pushed aside, as he turned his attention to the witch.
"It just occurred to me that I don't even know your name.. Nor you know mine."
He stated, as he would blink a few times to make sure his contacts were still in his eyes. The last thing he needed to happen, was having his contacts slip out of his eyes.
"You know name, because it's on my card. And you also know my title of course..."
He said a little smug, and proudly. He spoke about his title like a red badge of courage.
But not to just anyone.
"So preytell, what is the name that which you go by?"
He asked, as he kept his eyes scanning over every rooftop, pathway and corner. Making sure nobody would pop up, or try and made a move.
And if they did, he would be ready for them, most certainly.

He was now ever so curious as to what this witch's occupation was. Was she just like him? An assassin? Or perhaps she was just a freelance, and offered her services to anyone that needed them, or was remotely interested in them?
Gideon was one not to assume these things, as it was a rude gesture to do so.
Nor was he about to ask, as he could only recall the witch offering her skills in return, should Gideon require them.
Nonetheless, he waited patiently for her reply, as the pair had came upon the warehouse that the woman was seeking. And inside was the artifact, hopefully.
The sun was already dying out quickly, and the shadow of night was casting its grip upon the world.
