West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

Hearing some snippets about their childhood made a small simper appear as she painted her eggs carefully. The two of them hardly ever spoke about their past. It was nice to hear that at the beginning of their lives they felt the touch of a parent's love and care. From what little she knew about her mate he lost them at a very young age, but he managed to find his way to Tetradore and grow up with him. As for her Alpha, well, she knew nothing about him at all. It was never in her nature to pry. There was hardly anything good to speak about her own past. When she slept alone she would relive those horrendous moments. The last thing she wanted to do was actually talk about it. If she felt this way then perhaps they did the same. It was sweet, in a way, they had once done this activity with their Mother. If this was the sort of things family's did together maybe in time, with their own family, they could do the same thing. Clearly dying Easter Eggs was a memorable activity.

Like marriage, having children of her own didn't seem like something possible. Before she always assumed she would remain locked up and alone. There wasn't anyone or anything holding her back from whatever she wanted. The possibilities were endless. However, the young woman wanted only the simplest of things. A family, and lucky for her, with the way the pack was growing her wish was coming true. The question on what sort of species their children would be wasn't something she could answer.

When Tobias was sane he was the one that told her they could have children. In her mind she always assumed because they were two different species it wouldn't be possible. Based upon what she learned from a pamphlet at the local women's health services the ability for different Were-species to have children was difficult, but not entirely impossible. The pamphlet did say that the child wouldn't be half-and half. It was possible the child could obtain the traits from both parents. With a shrug of her shoulders she replied.

"I don't really know. I don't think it matters on what species it is...as long as it is alive and healthy."

That was all that mattered, right? Besides the idea of being a Mother so soon dissuaded her motivation to have a child just yet. Rather she was far more interested in doing other things. Like getting the boys to go on an Easter egg hunt. It was a simple and fun game for the two of them to play. As long as they played fairly. She didn't have to worry about Tetradore. He would be good and he wouldn't cause any problems. Her mate, on the other hand, was the one she needed to keep a very close eye on. Threatening to push him in the water to keep in line was a threat she would follow. It wasn't fair for Tetradore to be unable to find eggs if Tobi was using his power to find them all. Once she gave the boys permission to find their eggs she watched as they did as instructed. When she learned about this game she knew instantly that it was perfect for both jungle cats. They enjoyed their sweets and playing games. They were predators too! So, having them run around and find things would easily peek their feline's interest. It wasn't surprising to hear such catastrophe playout out upstairs. Following Tobias down the stairs she watched as her Alpha scrambled to follow after him. It didn't bother her to tell him where her mate ran off.

Hearing the calamity begin to unfold within the kitchen she didn't bother to enter it. Although she did wince when she heard something break. Hearing them yell at one another she shook her head helplessly. Boys will be boys. Blue-grey eyes widened in shock as she saw her Alpha appear out of some shadows with her mate pouncing and toppling the two of them over. The bucket full of those plastic colorful Easter eggs flew around everywhere, landing on the floor, bouncing and rolling away. As the two of them rolled around on the ground with one another she couldn't help, but roll her eyes. Easily she would lift the blue and red plastic buckets and set them on the table. Then she would start to gather up the eggs and place them equally in each bucket not bothered at all by the two boys continuing to wrestle around. Telekinesis always made her life easy. Once she finished she called on the other colorful eggs to come, the ones the boys hadn't found yet, placing them in those same buckets. Once filled to the brim she walked over towards the two of them waiting until they were finished. Once they had their attention on her she gave them a shy grin.

"I guess...I should have made more rules. You two really get into it when you have to compete. Here, these belong to you, and don't worry they each have the same amount."

She would hand them each a bucket and then make her way over to the bar. Bending down she opened up one of the cabinets and lifted up two large colorful wicker baskets, both the same color as those plastic buckets filled with eggs. She did say she would hand out a special prize to the one that got the most eggs. Raven always meant to give them both a prize in the end. It was supposed to be a surprise. It was best to have the game be done and keep them from tearing something else up. Each wicker basket had green shredded grass in it stuffed with various types of candy. In Tobias' basket there were some new small toys that he could play with and join his farm animal and car collection. In Tetradore's basket there were some video games he had been interested in. A wide grin appeared as she stood there gesturing to the two baskets. It all didn't end up how she wanted, but that was perfectly all right. The important thing was that they each had their own set of fun on this special day. This would be a fun tradition to do every year.

"It's a good thing I had two prizes made. Happy Easter you two!"
