West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Black Market

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

West
He never went to a theme park before he was turned. Of course, those didn't really exist around the time of the Civil Wat. Too many politics going on. When he found out about the large parks where people swamp to in order to lose themselves in fantasy and magic, he couldn't help himself though. He had quite a many purge days in theme parks, anywhere from a Disney World to Islands of Adventure. He would charm a group of ladies then find a dark place around the rides and drain them all. Then he would clean up and continue on with his day. Of course, that was back in his rebellious days when human life didn't matter. Nothing did. He considered it fun to kill, once upon a time. Not that he didn't still have fun with it. He just tried to contain himself where Isolt was concerned. She didn't need to know all his dark secrets.

He didn't really have a lot of family time unless you count dinners. His father always pushed for the whole family to be around the table at dinner time. He wouldn't take no for an answer. That's why Damon tried to show up late or not at all as much as he could. Just to show his father he wasn't his boss. But then he found out his father was taking his lateness out on Stefan so he begrudgingly started showing up on time. His father spent most days out at important meetings with other men of the town or locked up in his study. His mother did the house work and went to the market for food or had dates with her few friends. Stefan was his only friend growing up. Him and his brother did most everything together. They would run around the house playing rugby or just a simple game of tag. They would walk through town and point out pretty girls. That was his family time, really.

But back to the present. He chuckled when Kathryn made a comment about his heart. His brow lifted, admiring her wit now that she'd come out of her shell a little bit. She was such a spitfire. He liked it. He leaned forward, his voice low and almost a purr. "Who says I have a heart and not an empty hole?" He could tell she was starting to have fun, despite herself. Then she reminded him that he promised not to kill the guy if she came along. He smirked. "That was before you found out his diabolical plans to kidnap my fiancé and kill my child. I thought that might change your mind on the whole not killing thing." He gave a heavy sigh before shrugging. "But fine. We'll figure out something else." He was a little disappointed she wouldn't let him unlock her memories. He was wondering himself just what else the witch could do if she knew her own powers. He was always curious by nature. Hence why he did a lot of experiments on humans after he was turned.

She seemed to be okay with him wiping the warlock's memories though. Well that was something, at least. Then he would forget about the coven and their plans. There was only one hiccup but Kathryn needn't worry. He knew the coven wouldn't let this man go so easily. They would find him and they could easily unblock his memories if Damon did a memory wipe. He would have to be more dramatic with it, unfortunately for the warlock. He made sure Kathryn was ready before he began, scooting closer to the warlock so he could keep eye contact and get into his mind. Kathryn was on board, telling him she didn't want anyone to get hurt and he scowled thoughtfully. "Neither do I." He tried to look soft and worried about his fiancé when really he knew he would murder the whole coven without a second thought if they touched a hair on her head. He focused in on the warlock was rewarded with him moaning and his eyes rolling back. He was almost in. He didn't expect it to be that easy.

But then the man started screaming and he clenched his jaw. He was fighting it. He didn't want to lose his eye contact but he was telling Kathryn to do something in his own head, not that she would hear. Finally he felt a wind kick up and blow toward the warlock. It must have been no more than a breeze cause the warlock didn't even blink. He started screaming more. "You stupid leech, you'll never get in my head! I'm impenetrable!" Damon glared, focusing his concentration even more, trying to break through the man's defenses. Meanwhile his hand lifted from his knee to make a circular motion toward a Kathryn, as if to say "come on, you can do better than that."
