West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

She could tell she'd gotten him thinking when she mentioned what a Tobias x Raven baby might look like. Hadn't they ever thought of two different species becoming mates and what that might create? Surely it had been done before. But Tetradore only seemed disturbed by the idea, finally saying that he just hoped that wouldn't happen. She laughed. "We'll sign me up for a sneak peek if it ever does. I want to know." She couldn't help but tease him about his smooth Spanish, saying he must get a lot of sex with that talk. He only offered a vague "yeah right" in return before his expression actually got pensive, like he was actually thinking about it or something. She couldn't help but smirk as she looked at him out of the corner of her eye. Maybe it would get him thinking about finding someone to curb that loneliness he must be feeling. She wanted him to be happy above all.

It seems she wasn't the only one being observant today though. Next thing she knew, he was asking her what the look was for. She bit into her bottom lip, not sure what she wanted to share. Couldn't very well have him know that she was thinking about how lonely he must be, how any girl would be lucky to share his bed. So instead she settled for her own dark thoughts. He hated talking about himself after all. She shrugged. "Well, I just don't know if that will ever be for me, is all. Sure, it'd be great to never have to worry about being alone but why tie someone to you for the rest of their lives? Seems selfish. I'd hate for someone to resent me cause they chose wrong." She knew she was a handful and there was just still so much she didn't understand in this world. Maybe she'd find her happiness making friends and occasionally having sex with her good friends. Maybe that would be enough.

When they made it to the house, she teased him about using his Spanish on the owner and she giggled when he wrinkled his nose. When he teased her back about distracting the owner, she rolled her eyes. "Cause I'm probably about the same age as his daughter and I doubt that would be sexy. Plus, he's not exactly attracted to what I got. Don't you smell al the different manly scents around his house? Not many female visitors, if you know what I mean." She said with a playful wink.

She was observant when she put her mind to it. She let him help her over the fence then they headed for the house. She hated that he wanted to just make this easy by using their teleportation skills. She wanted the challenge, but she'd be lying if she didn't want to make this night adventure last a little longer just so she could spend more time with Tetradore. When she pulled out a lock pick, she saw the skeptical look on his face and she grinned, feeling confident of herself in this. She'd practiced on her own bedroom door enough. "You watch enough nighttime tv, you pick up on a few things. I like learning new things." She shrugged it off, even as the door made an audible clicking noise of the lock opening before the door slid open too. She moved inside and heard the dog getting up so she pulled Tetradore into the closet with her. He wasn't the only one all too aware of the close quarters. Her heart was hammering. She was sure he could hear it. Her skin was tingling from the close contact and she couldn't look him in the eye right now. She tried to concentrate on the noises outside the door as the dog sniffed around before finally succumbing to the pheromones she planted outside. It felt like hours but she knew it was only seconds before she was able to step out of the closet and close the door behind the dog.she finally let out the breath she was holding.

She composed herself before turning to Tetradore to ask where the painting is. He nodded his head and led the way down the hall. She could hear rustling as the man in the room right behind this wall tossed and turned in his sleep. She hoped he wasn't a light sleeper. She glanced up at the painting he had motioned to. It didn't look like anything special to her but it seemed to be pretty special to Tetradore. She was about to just reach up and grab it off the wall when his voice stopped her. She stopped mid reach and slowly brought her hands back down, scowling at the wall as if she could see the owner. She couldn't help but smirk though. "I've always wanted to see a blue and black panther." Then she took the blanket he handed her and listed as he instructed her to tilt the painting. She nodded and reached up carefully, handling the panting like its glass since she didn't want to be the one to ruin his dreams of having this painting. She did as he asked and waited till the painting was carefully secured off the wall before wrapping it in the blanket. "Okay, what do you say we get out of here?" She grinned, about to head for the door when she paused. "Mojo, where are ya buddy?" The sleepy voice came from the bedroom and she tensed, holding her breath. Maybe he was just talking in his sleep. But then she heard the undeniable sounds of his feet hitting the floor as he got up. Her eyes widened and she grabbed Tetradore's arm and pulled him into the closest room with her before closing the door. She pushed herself against the wall, listening as the man's feet shuffled into the hallway. It was still dark so hopefully he wouldn't notice the painting missing. "Mojo! Where are ya?" She bit her bottom lip, thinking, before she turned to Tetradore. "Get out once he's distracted." She pushed the blanket wrapped painting into his arms and took a deep breath before opening the door. Before she stepped out, she closed her eyes concentrating on what the dog looked like. She'd seen him plenty of times through the fence. A bulky English Bulldog with a stub tail and cropped ears. Suddenly her body shifted until that's exactly what stood before Tetradore, complete with the brown brindle spots. She didn't look back over her shoulder, not wanting to get caught up in trying to explain her new power. So instead she pushed the door with her nose till she could slip out and made her way down the hallway to the man. She wagged her stubby tail and even make a snorting noise. The man smiled. "There you are. Come on, boy, back to bed." She followed him into the bedroom, shuffling back to the dog bed on the floor and pretending to get comfortable, waiting till the man climbed into bed. Her eyes swept to the hallway, wanting to make sure Tetradore got out before she made a move.
