West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

it's over, i'm through

I saw you standing there and I knew I'm done for

How that sudden shot changed everything in that singular moment. That childish scream that reverberated from Maeve's throat seemed enough to break Tobias' concentration, the Dark Hunter beneath his control near tumbling to the ground as a result of his precarious spinning. Gingerly, Tetradore reached down, his gaze falling upon the young girl as his fingers brush against her head, reassuring her by touch alone that there was nothing to fear. She was safe, even despite the marked dangerousness of the situation. He wouldn't allow her to come to any harm and yet, saving her sweet innocence was likely to prove significantly more difficult. To witness death at such a young age was certainly not something he wished to mar her with. It was a shame, truly, that he was not able to take the time he desired to ensure this newest Hunter knew his place within the boundary of the Nightshade pack. Tetradore's eyebrow rose as the man merely commanded his subordinates to simply take the young child from him. Maeve's sudden boldness, however, caused a fleeting glimpse of a simper upon his features. Her faith in them, it seemed, was entirely steadfast, prompting a sort of fiery passion he had to admit he found quite endearing. Nevertheless, his emerald gaze shifted briefly towards his companion, those considerations between the pair near passing wordlessly as Tobias' hand shifted to the sharpened claws of his feline form.

That stuttered request for permission was easily given with the single demand that such deaths occur beyond Maeve's view, the commander of the trio intentionally left alive. Though he noted that inquisitive glimpse Tobias provided him, he saw little reason to explain himself, simply trusting within his companion to see his requests completed without hesitance. Tetradore slowly shifted down to Maeve's level, his once hardened emerald irises softening at the very sight of the young girl as he tenderly reached for her hands. His instructions were clear and concise as he brought her hands to her ears, his own remaining on top of them in an effort to keep any noises those Hunters might make as they died from haunting her dreams. A small simper crossed his lips as Tetradore made every effort to appear nothing short of placid, attempting to calm the girl with his own tranquil body language despite the way her bottom lip seemed to protrude ever so slightly with tears she strove to keep from spilling upon her porcelain cheeks. His gaze slowly turned from the young girl as Tobias reappeared, that spotted feline nothing short of purposeful as he swept the second hunter in with those every familiar shadows that belonged wholly to Tetradore himself. It would hardly take long for Dante to meet the same fate as his companion.

He watched as the last lingering Hunter seemed to pale with a sudden understanding of all that just occurred in mere moments and yet, he hardly seemed perturbed as that gun raised in his general direction. The Were-King himself was nothing short of calm as his attention so wholly shifted towards the commander, his baritone voice entirely confident in this matter. "The Council will do nothing. I told you, the fae was mine, it's a shame for your friends that you didn't listen." His strikingly vibrant irises shifted towards the spotted feline that appeared behind the remaining Hunter. That message and the threat that lingered there was surely obvious. The very hiss upon Tobias' lips seemed to catch the Hunter's attention as that panic so seized the man. How Tetradore could near taste that fear that rolled off the Hunter in waves and yet, he hardly gave into that coaxing...not with Maeve present. In fact, the Were-King was almost inattentive to the young girl as she dropped her hands, her own instincts clearly prevailing over Tetradore's explicit instructions. It hardly mattered now, however, the worst of it already over and yet, the last thing he had anticipated was that sudden command upon her sweet soprano lips. His eyebrow rose and yet, he could see the indecision upon the Dark Hunter's features as if he was almost considering it. How curious. For the moment, Tetradore saw little reason to intervene, instead, inquisitive of just how strong that persuasion was. After all, he suspected some sort of supernatural affinity at play - it was unlikely the Dark Hunter was willing to give up his gun by just being asked nicely.
