West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Black Market

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

West

Maeve's memory is not even really truly a memory, but a sensation. The feeling of warm breath as someone rests their chin on the top if her head made of creamy locks. The golden haired child does not know where this sensation comes from, she cannot even picture the memory it is tied to. But there are times when the little girl feels alone, sad, or outcast, and she pulls this sensation from the deepest places within her mind. But, the child with hair like morning sunshine, she has come to fill her thoughts with other happy memories since coming to Sacrosanct, but sometimes, that memory still finds her within her dreams.

Maeve is day dreaming. A smile on her face. She always seemed to smile, like a broken china doll, except she was much more delightful and happy, she ignored the world and their eyes, she had only ever known to ignore the eyes of the world. Maeve was a girl of swirling sun dresses, beautiful ballet, fresh spring flowers, and butterflies flying into the sky. She was a child of sunshine with storm clouds following closely behind her, ready to pour. But Maeve always had her umbrella ready, swinging it over her shoulder, china doll smile never falling and lavender eyes never losing their sparkle.

The sunny haired child only stirs when she realizes it is time for her to go to the Ark. Andras was busy this Easter Sunday so Maeve figured she would go to the next best place (though all her friends were truly equal in her eyes): the Ark! Besides, she had a project due next week that she wanted to show Tobi. Each student had been able to choose any topic they would like and do research on that particular topic. Of course, Maeve had chosen big cats, specifically panthers and leopards. She carefully read everything that she could about the animals before making her paper and adding pictures. Now they were all printed out nearly to turn in to her teacher.

Maeve grabbed her backpack and put her papers inside it before announcing she was ready to go to the Ark. It was warm enough for the girl with hair like early morning sunshine to wear a dress. A short sleeve cream colored dress, she wear a pair of peach low top sneakers and adds a peach scarf as an accessory, thinking she had adorned herself with a proper Easter color. Those violet eyes look out from underneath that nearly white hair with a touch of golden sheen to it and the sunlight graces her face as she steps out the door. Her enthusiasm to see her were friends, to this day, has not even faltered a little.

She watches clouds float by as she rides in the car to the Ark. The window is open and golden hair moves out behind her lightly. Odd violet eyes only peer back onto the road when she realizes she is close to the ark. She blinks those satellite dish eyes once before reaching to unbuckle her seatbelt. A thin lipped smile is on her face before she opens the car door and slips outside. She runs on those thin, graceful legs up to the Ark and rushes into the ship. This place felt like home, it was comfortable and wonderful and perfect and Maeve thinks how much fun it would surely be to live upon a ship.

Maeve, for being such a little, little girl, it is strange, to some at least, that she should find such friendship within the lanky leopard boy. He is scary, deadly, and most would certainly not trust him with their children. But when Maeve had been crying and scared, it had not been some motherly figure to find her, but Tobi. Tobi had been the one to come to her and make her smile and her tears had dried as if he had some sort of magical spell for little fae girls. And then he, along with the panther, had been the one to save her and Maeve knew that Tobi would be her friend forever. She hardly cared that he could not count (after all, there was a time in Maeve's life when she could not count.) The fact that he did not wear shoes was something to be admired. His bent and broken speech was not uncomfortable, but Maeve knew this as Tobi language and the way he spoke was beautiful in its own right. Maeve was Maeve and she never changes, she would love Tobi for forever, of that she was sure.

Maeve strolls through the ark with that fae like grace she was born with. She slowly makes her way to his room, slowing her steps when she knows she is getting close, trying to even still her breathing. She was going to scare the leopard. Well, try to anyway. I think you already know how this is probably going to go. Her steps are subtle and calm, trying to be as quiet as she possibly can. Not yet has Maeve ever managed to scare the leopard boy and that little girl's heart full of optimism thinks today, a new day in fact, could maybe be the day. Just when she reaches the edge of his door, she pauses for a moment, gathering up her courage before leaping into the door way and throwing those hands up in front of herself with fingers curled to be her version of claws. Those child teeth are bared and her brow is furrowed and from her throat she utters a mighty (it was quite small and high pitched actually) growl. "Grrrrr," she says, violet eyes looking to spot Tobi. It is only then she drops the make believe leopard to giggle excitedly, bobbing up and down on the spot. "Did I scare you?"

Not likely.
