West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Black Market

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

The woman in front of Arden clearly was not amused about his joke about warning signs. He had thought maybe it was chuckle worthy, but clearly he had been wrong. He had expected this place to have a fair amount of supernatural creatures, but he hadn't expected quite what he had found. He also had years of military training that allowed him to overcome his gut reaction. It had become very clear to him since he had gotten here that the source that had given him the info about this place was not to be relied on. It seemed that contact wanted him dead if anything.

Arden appreciated when the woman lost her scowl, and adopted a smirk. The scowl made him feel almost like a disobedient child even though by looks he was the senior one by a fair margin. When she agreed to escort him out Arden's face broke into a big smile. She gave her name in return for his, and even gave him a smile. Arden couldn't lie he was surprised. He had expected a more dour response. Alexis clearly must have been important to the Weres that surrounded them. They parted without a single word or motion from Alexis. It was almost eerie seeing them respond like that. Most of his knowledge on supernaturals was from the perspective of an outsider, and the few Weres he had actually talked to were a proud bunch who never would have acted like these Weres. The few Arden had known were also mostly loners. He kept silent as they walked observing the crowd. Almost all eyes had went somewhere else instead of staying on him, but one or two were still eyeing him. Alexis led him to the door before speaking again.

Could he make it home from here? She clearly couldn't know that the one place Arden had ever considered home was far away, and he was sure he would never return to. Sadness passed over his face for a brief second before he resumed his cheery expression. "Yes I believe I should be able to get to my rental car from here. I appreciate the help Alexis. Sorry if I disturbed your evening." He turned to leave, but just before his hand could touch the door handle he stopped. He reached into his pocket, and pulled out a paper card. The card read "Arden A. Wick, artifact collector" Along the bottom of the card it also had a phone number. He turned to Alexis and held the card out to her. "This might sound really dumb, but if you find anything you think might be of interest give me a call." He smiled as he said the words, but his eyes were serious. He turned, opened the door, and proceeded to make his way out of the Ark. He wasn't sure how she would react to the card, but he hoped everything would be fine. Arden strode confidently away from the Ark, but his single eye, and ears were on high alert in case any of the Weres decided he was easy prey now that he was alone. He might make it all the way to his SUV he had rented, but he couldn't be too safe.
