West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Black Market

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

That's what friends are for

There was a time when Alexis would have run for her life at the sight of the attacks, ran to the Ark to get someone else or just hid in her room, hoping the attackers wouldn't come for her next. That was when she was nothing more than a scared Were looking to survive, nothing more. Since then, Alexis had taken on her abusive father and his whole pack. If she hadn't fought, she would have died, which is exactly what her father wanted. He couldn't stand the idea that she'd run away and found happiness somewhere else. He wouldn't let it stand. She'd ended up killing a few of his pack members and that had been enough to send the rest running. They were just foxes, after all, not battle worn wolves or anything that lived for the fight. They were just doing what they were told and when they saw friends and family getting killed, it was enough to make them turn tail.

These wolves made it seem personal though, whatever they had against Mira. Alexis didn't know what it was but it didn't matter. She wouldn't let her pack mate die out here alone. So she stayed and fought with everything she had. When the rest of the wolves finally retreated, she could see the lava on Mira's form cooling, turning back to stone. It was fascinating to watch. Fur started to appear where only rock and lava had been before. She turned her gaze back to Mira's face as she spoke though, saying the wolves were part of her past and they weren't Alexis' burden. She smiled softly and shook her head. "Nothing is ever just your own in a pack. Your burdens are now my burdens. Get used to it." She said with a wry smirk, her eyes twinkling with humor.

As Mira took a step closer, Alexis could see the worry in her eyes as she said that she was bleeding. Alexis shrugged and glanced down at her arm where the blood was still trickling in a small path down her hand and dripping to the ground. "It'll heal. In fact..." She closed her eyes and concentrated. The skin started healing back together, her skin looking flawless once again. She wiped the blood from her arm. "See? Good as new." She smiled, not wanting Mira to worry about her. "Do you have any injuries? I can heal you, too." She smiled softly, wanting to help her pack mate as much as she could. When they talked of favors, Mira teased that Alexis knew where she lived and she laughed and nodded. "This is true."

Alexis was ready to take her leave then, sure that Mira wanted some time to herself to compose herself and face whatever demons she might have. Mira said that she would do the same soon and thanked her again. "No problem." Then Mira offered for her to come to the bar in the Ark sometime. "I'll have to take you up on that. I like a good cocktail." She said with a smirk. She nodded when Mira said that she would hang back a little. Turning on her heel, she headed back to the Ark, leaving Mira to do whatever she needed to do.
