West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

It was rather peculiar that someone like Carolina would be willing to come back to the Ark, a place that she came to try and steal something that belonged to her and her mate. It was a foolish attempt and she wanted to understand why the snow-leopard would do such a thing. It wasn't like she had a very good reason to come back here of all places. Quietly she waited for the woman to reply, curious to see what sort of answer she would get. Raven expected the feline to give her an honest answer, but she also knew there was a possibility that she would lie. After all, it wasn't like Carolina was not allowed to lie to her. She was her boss, not a pack member, not a close confidant. As the snow-leopard began to answer it was her comment about the Ark being known as a home for the homeless that made a small smile creep on her face. In a way Carolina was right. The Ark was a place for those poor, unfortunate souls that were lost in one form or another. Somehow they managed to find one another and create a family they never had, or recreate the family that was lost. A bond like theirs was unlike any other. As for her own presence being here in the Ark, it was understandable that she seemed a bit out of place. Within the Ark she was given the chance to be something she wasn't before, a functioning member of a pack. Indeed it was a stroke of good fortune that after all the hell she went through, how she was terribly treated, she finally managed to find where she belonged. Following Carolina's gesture to their surroundings, she noticed quietly for a moment, speaking softly.

"Yes, after everything that happened, I'm lucky and very happy to finally have a home and family."

Looking at the crates they had just brought up she busied herself to pick up the bottles and set them on the shelves in their makeshift bar. She could hear members of the Staff start to call out that they were finished with their responsibilities. Good. This was her chance to show Tetradore that these water fights could be good for business. He seemed hesitant and she answered each and every one of his concerns with a solution. The Dark Hunters never bothered them about their business and she made sure with Azrael that they wouldn't start with the fights going on outside. She just needed this test run to go well. The poor girl just wanted the Were-Panther to trust her. If she could make this new business adventure go well, perhaps he would, and maybe it would lead him to trust her with other things too. Quietly she watched as the Weres that would be fighting tonight started to make their arrival, approaching Jackal to enroll in the tournament. Glancing over at Carolina she leaned into the counter a bit, crossing her arms across her chest in a leisure manner.

"Carolina, if you continue to do well, I wouldn't be surprised if Tetra asked if you wanted to join our pack. If he asks I hope your answer is yes."

They were a band of misfits and the Ark was their home. Carolina appeared to be a wayward soul and such souls happened to be drawn to their place. Taking a few steps closer to the woman she held out her hand and gently took Carolina's hand into her own, her thumb gently rubbing over her knuckles in a kind gesture. Blue-grey eyes searched for Carolinas' eyes, the lupine going quiet for a moment, as she looked the young woman square in the eye.

"We are all bildungsroman, in one way or another. We all have a history, and yet that doesn't mean we don't deserve a place to belong and be happy."

With a small simper she let go of the woman's hand, turned around, and walked out from behind the counter. The lupine gave Carolina, in a way, her blessing to stick around. Everyone deserved a second chance and she wanted the snow leopard to be aware that she was wanted, and that she could have so much more, if she gave them the chance. As the patrons started to enter she went into work mode, going around and making sure they were getting settled, keeping an eye on everyone and everything.
