West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Syn

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

Had Raven been aware of the power between this simple touch in the particular place on his neck the young woman would have used it to her advantage during lunch. If he could be this sedated by such a simple touch she couldn't help but wonder just what situations they could be in that work on this method. After generously applying the medicine to his neck she would give him a small smile quite content with his close proximity to her, pleased to see his raw skin starting too cool from this simple fix. Finding this scissors in his hands though did worry her, but after showing him how they worked she was pleased to see him using the device correctly and safely. Even though he made a mess that she would have to clean up after. Even though no one here would really appreciate such a thing. Lucian was long gone and the Devil Den was closed by the bank. Everything inside was already paid for and she could not return to sender and so the place would be a weapon warehouse still, but with no one coming in to purchase. Sitting at the kitchen table she was pleased that he would offer to make her something. Always she was the one making him food, providing him entertainment, dealing with his silly antics all to make him happy, because...well, she wanted to. Though he wasn't alone when it came to providing her something in return. There on the refrigerator was the drawing he had made for her when they first moved into the warehouse, a sign that she appreciated his gift. In the front pocket of her jeans the small faded colored toy leopard remained, a reminder to herself that she wasn't always alone, and it was the second thing he had given her. Thought the very first thing he gave her was not just his attention on the docks that one night, but the very sack he had offered the first night they slept in the same vicinity. That same ragged sack that she kept in her bed, stealing it and sleeping with it in his hammock when he was gone, or taking it with her to sleep with at home, his scent always there.

Teaching the boy how to make her tea was her way of showing him that he was capable of doing so much more. He had mimicked her actions she took in the morning when he would wake her up before dawn to make him something to eat before he had to go back to Syn. Opening the fridge, turning on the microwave, always making herself a pot of tea while he ate whatever she fixed him. While working the stove she observed how he reacted, seeming pleased with the fire and as he got closer to touch the flame, she spoke up warning him to not touch it. His dark look was ignored as her own blue-grey eyes held a soft plea wishing for him to understand and at least obey this...she would hate for him to get hurt. A light chuckle escaped her pink lips when she noticed how his long tail puffed up, and she would pour herself and him a cup. Giving eyes shifted towards him and she couldn't help, but place a disappointed façade on her mutilated face, sadden by his glare and his sharp response. Sitting down at the kitchen table she watched with curiosity as he looked at the cup in awe, explaining twice he was impressed that she had 'captured the water.' Grinning she spoke softly an encouraging tone in her voice.

"Maybe you can capture the water by yourself one day? I could help."

If there was one thing Raven was good at, it was hiding any sort of disagreement or disgruntled appearance. It was an art she had perfected. Should she show any action to her pack of aggression, or defense then they would only harm her more and so she conditioned herself to hide such dark thoughts. It was difficult, but she managed, and it was a good thing she could teach herself this ability, because she was struggling to chew and swallow the buttered cut up onion. All Tobi would see was a Birdie eating what he provided and grinning at him. She wanted to please the boy in some way before he had to head off for Syn. Taking another drink she placed it down as she noticed his scowl. Her tone would slow down at a gentler rate, pausing every now and then as her soft eyes searched for his.

"What I mean Tobi...is...when you do not have to be Risky's kitty-pet anymore...you must let me take that collar off you...you shouldn't wear something that makes you a kitty-pet...you are King of the West, remember?

A teasing smile was etched on her face. He did always enjoy calling himself the King and should he want to keep that reputation he cannot wear such an atrocious device. As he began to stand up his tail flicking side to side she would get up as well heading for one of the cupboards and taking out a plastic Tupperware. Within those clear walls were what looked like circular treats, a variety of cookies homemade baked earlier that day. Turning around she would head towards him handing the Tupperware filled with cookies to the deviant.

"Well, I don't want you to get in trouble, but before you go....I made these this morning, I figured you and Tetra could at least have a treat before Risky wakes up."

She could not follow him to his hell hole. There was no way she could help him get away from such a despicable place. She had seen the vampire in action and her hold on felines was powerful and there wasn't a damn thing she could do about it. Folding her arms in front of her, as if to give herself self-comfort, blue-grey eyes held a look of sorrow in her eyes, sad to see him go off to such a horrible place. Sometimes he came the next morning or the same night while she was asleep. When he came while she was asleep, sometimes in a Hypnopomic state, she would see him come and lie beside her his fingers moving through her hair or moving over to bite her ear, these tender moments something she assumed was simply a dream and not real. Always she would murmur a hello to Tobi and fall straight back to sleep, her nerves not rattled anymore and at peace knowing he was safe at her side for just a few hours. A small sad half-smile was given to him, knowing it would be awhile before she saw him again.

"I will see you later Tobi, I promise to be around when you get back."
