West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

It didn't take much encouragement for the she-wolf to start looking for the crate that contained that scent of gunpowder. As soon as Azrael signaled it was okay for them to enter the seemingly quiet warehouse she went to work. Running down the line she sniffed each crate, moving her cold nose on each side of the crate before running it to the middle, at least to ensure that she was being very diligent in her search. Not finding anything on the bottom row she lifted herself to the top row to continue her search. The familiar sour-like smell of the gunpowder was caught, and she was quite pleased that she founded it so quickly. Raven would have told the Dark Hunter she found it if her attention was not deviated by what she could have sworn was a movement from the corner of her eye.

The thick fur along her neck stood on end as she instinctively released a threatening low growl. The odd scent seemed to trail along the rafters. Blue-grey eyes shifted upwards to see if she could pinpoint just what she was sensing, but once again she saw movement to the side again and looked at that instead. Warning Azrael she was about to move from the top of the crates when she felt something heavy slam into her from above. Her eyes widened in shock as she looked at the burned ginger-haired vampire snapping his teeth in her face. That bright light blinded her as it slammed into the vampire, crashing him into the wall. With that heavy pressure off her body, she tried inhaling deeply, while pulling herself out of the floor. Shaking herself she looked up at Azrael and then back at the vampire.

"We saw him at the warehouse, his brother died...I thought he did too."

How did he survive? She saw him....she saw the effects of Mira's power when they were in that warehouse basement. His brother died. She saw both ginger-haired vampires fall into that lava. Nothing can survive lava, at least she thought that. But here he was, pulling himself off the wall. The loud crack of a gunshot made her look around, attempting to look for the source. With another yelp she crashed into the ground and skidded towards the edge of the crates, with Azrael now on top of her. With the wind knocked out of her again she stayed still, feeling the warmth from his light encircle them. The sound of gunfire started to ring through the air, the sounds of bullets whizzing by was a bit nerve-wracking. What made it worse was when she heard the thud of the bullets hitting the crates or walls. Over the sound of the gunfire she turned her head to the wall and didn't see the vampire there anymore. Concerned she looked up into the rafters again not finding him up there.

Hearing another volley of gunfire, this time farther away, she looked worriedly at the blonde man. If his Dark Hunters were being confronted outside, just as much as they were being confronted inside, this was not good. Following Azrael she watched as he blasted light at a human, watching the man fly somewhere within the dark. Well, Azrael wanted to find weapons and based upon the sound of gunfire all around them, it seemed he got his wish. The familiar hissing noise caught her attention. Looking upwards she noticed the vampire moving within the rafters, watching them as they were under an onslaught of gunfire.

"We have gunfire, we have a vampire, and your backup is preoccupied. If you go for the vampire I can try to get the gunfire to just fall on me, I can make armor out of shadow for myself, and you. Did you know you're the only light source in this building? None of them turned the lights on in here."
