A half-smile slowly began to appear as she saw her friend be amused by the rambunctious actions of her husband. He was quite the different character. Raven recalled how anxious she was during the royal wedding. Being around those dignitaries was absolutely terrifying. Tobias and herself were not meant to be around a crowd like that, they didn't belong with them, and she was afraid what terrible scene her mate would cause. Dorian was extremely generous and kind to allow them to attend his very special day. The last thing she needed was her devious companion misbehaving. As Alexis began to talk about a moment when Tobias was being mischievous, Raven couldn't help but shake her head in dismay, of course he would play some silly act with a person fast asleep. When they have children she will have to keep a very sharp eye on him and ensure their children aren't become hell-raising demons spreading havoc within their home. When Alexis asked whether or not she discussed her past with her mate she answered it as best she could. A part of her wished to explain to him why she reacted to certain things unusually. Raven wanted to know more about her husband, she wanted that ability to easy talk to him about anything, to have that back and forth conversation. The mention of Alexis admitting she didn't think she and her Dark Hunter was answered with a small nod and a soft voice.
"I never thought I would be married, and yet you and I are living out what we thought we'd never get to do. I'm happy you found someone."
Everyone deserved someone. It was good that Alexis found someone that made her happy. Whenever she came to the Ark Raven could catch the scent of the Dark Hunter she had been seeing. The fox was always pleased when she returned from those outings. Not once did the man come within the Ark during the day or night. Probably because he was didn't want to tread on claimed territory. Whatever the reason none of them had met him, but if Alexis was willing to have herself and her troublesome husband present, she would be willing. A small frown appeared when Alexis began to talk about how he had been to many places. Why did that matter? She was chosen, he chose her...and she needed to be reminded that she was of worth. Murmuring softly she searched for Alexis' eyes, and when they locked, she held her gentle gaze on her.
"And even though he's been to so many exotic and foreign places, he chose to be with you....how can you be out of his league, when he chose you to be at his side. That means something Alexis."
Breaking her gaze she grabbed her tea cup and took a sip before setting it down on the table again. Reopening her book she returned to her bookmarked page, getting ready to go over coincidentally enough Alexander the Great. Funny that, Alexander.
"If he is okay with dealing with Tobias and me, I will encourage Tobias to be on his best behavior on a double date. I would like to know more about this Alexander."
Raven Cain.
