West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

The look of silent inquiry upon Tetradore's tired face, one Mira had no intentions of revealing at this point in time save for that mischievous lingering look, yet far from diabolical. Her golden eyes near sparkling with it as they crinkled at the corners and the slight upturn of her lush lips. Of course, she expected no less than being met with that signature grunt, in her opinion might as well have been his blessing. Whilst she was entirely confident in the simply art of persuasion, this would not only rely on flawless execution, but timing. The thought soon faded into the background noise of the ocean's distant crashing waves, while they continued to eat their delicious meal. Against the crisp air, the warmth of food felt nothing short of comforting. It was rare when the two found themselves well and truly alone. With the salty infused air and vast breathtaking landscape she could not deny being the sole creature to steal entire attention. The only silent beckoning lay within those alluring bikes that stood almost out of place upon the ancient stone structure rich with history, marked within every crack within its stone veneer.

That lull of those bikes could not be ignored anymore after finishing that meal, Tetradore the first to rise before he drew Mira to her feet after rising to his own, that gesture alone perhaps gentlemanly onto itself. There was a knowing spark, that ignited within those vibrant emerald eyes that so easily lingered upon her body as she deliciously stretched out those eager limbs. It would only be a lie, if she claimed she wasn't excited. She could feel it rise within her at the promise of exploring those welcoming, seemingly endless sprawling roads. On a Ducati no less.. How she yearned to feel the road beneath their feet to blur into oblivion. With a full tank of gas, the possibilities were endless. Where they wound up seemed nothing short of a tightlipped secret, those hints vague at best. She hardly knew the reason why? A question she hardly thought much more about other than an acknowledging caress of her mind, far more eager to live in that moment and meet life with a welcoming zest. It was easy to get swept away by it, but not without the slight caress of her finger to remove that stray piece of marinara before seamlessly having stolen that playful kiss. Why not? With not a soul around them, were they not free to do as they wished? That subtle frown that suddenly formed upon his brow, in truth, was adorable was that the reaction she had hoped to garner. Apparently that his playful side was truly not out to play, it caused her smile to fade slightly and yet it would take a lot more than a frown to sully her mood. That poised question was met with her own raised brow. She hardly allowed him to stew within that question for long, not giving him a moment to question whether or not that rogue marinara even existed in the first place. Did it matter?

Yet still, nothing seemed to satisfy Tetradore, his own fingers reaching to the same place she had already rubbed her own thumb upon. Like he didn't believe she had actually missed it entirely! That soft sigh escaped her lips, That bemused expression still lingering as he uttered those words that seemed to catch her off guard, and yet she recovered with ease, her shoulders rising and falling in an easy shrug. She swore she could feel that gentle tug of laughter within her chest.. Well that was good to know... "No? I didn't think so either... but what if it wasn't a kiss I was after?" She enquired her voice mirroring her carefree attitude. She was purposely vague, maintaining the playful tone, even if only earned her that raised brow.

It was then that mention of the hotel that piqued her attention, he had said nothing about a hotel. That question alone earned her nothing but a shrug and a singular glance in her direction, apparently her alpha seemed infuriatingly unwilling to give her an inkling. Any attempts to get more information was met with what seemed like a brick wall. He wasn't going to give her anything, just the vague promise of sleep. How she could not think of sleep in a time like this. Then again, she had not just teleported them across the world. "Aw, don't talk about teleporting back so soon, we only just got here." And with that, the duo mounted their bikes and suited up, finally ready to experience those roads he had promised her. The moment they touched hands was all they needed for his affinity to envelope this quickly, whisking the pair to the base of the nearby mountain. Mira could hardly help the way she marveled at how big the wall was, and yet that mountain was far more imposing and it rising so high as if to meet the clouds. What a perilous distance to fall.. It was a damn good thing they were not going up... that very thought causing a sensation of butterflies fluttering within her stomach.

They navigated easily upon that dirt road with ease, although careful upon the loose footings it could have been easy enough to lose control of that bike at speed. Finally, when those front tires met the smooth welcoming paved surface of the road it was as if those bikes could sense their intentions. Or perhaps it was the way so eagerly gripped the handles, her own grip tightening in anticipation. It was then those teasing words traipsed within his mind. Finally, it earned her a soft chuckle from him, that sound causing a sweet brush of a smile upon her lips. That reply reached for him with distinct ease, that flirtatious statement was met with a distinct look in his direction, doubtful that he could see it. "Good.. because I have no desire to go slow." In response she lurched forward, causing the front end of her bike to rise in a wheelie. She could hardly help with that laughter that escaped her, how much power this bike had!

She was loving every moment, savouring that feeling of complete freedom. The exotic woman surveyed the unique landscape, never had she seen a place in the world exactly like this. She felt like she was devouring a visual feast! On a plus side, there was barely anyone littering the roads which it made it so easy to let those bikes go at that welcomed pace. She relished in the speed, in the power of that bike beneath her. It moved so seamlessly, that engine whirring with power, potential.. with a breath of promise for more. They easily maneuvered around the random, rare car that remained in their way. It was like they moved with flawless sync.

The wind pressed eagerly at them, Mira quite relishing in that cool press of air against her clothing, that jacket slicing out the chill as they took those roads by storm and she was grateful for it. It felt good wearing a jacket he had purchased for her, on the bike of her dreams, perhaps this man had known her far deeper than just her body. For a time, she was content enough to relish in those view, to point out the occasional eye-catching view they saw. "You weren't exaggerating when you said some of the best roads in the world.." That comment idle before... the road in the distance clearly changed. A frown appeared underneath her helmet. What the hell? In a moment blue surrounded them.. "What kind of bridge is this?" She asked incredulously, a caress along that powerful connection of their minds. It seemed to have no end.... What bridge had no end? She had never seen roads like this before, couldn't even dream of roads like this. It was then.. that she accelerated, relishing the way in which that motorcycle seemed keen to respond.

Mira pulled up beside him, near perfectly. She hardly hesitated as she stole her head start, knowing Tetradore would hardly take long to resolve what she intended. She reached out for his mind one last time.. that challenge if not already clear with her speed was now issued easily. "I wager...that I can make it off this endless bridge first.." She could hardly help that warm laughter, urging that make on ever faster..

"Its ok.. if you lose.. I will keep your secret... unfortunately I can't make you forget losing to me.." Mira needed not to emphasize just how high those stakes were. She was damn well sure he wouldn't make this easy, in fact, she counted on it. In fact, she had already maneuvered easily around a seemingly stationary vehicle as she sped along... leaning into that easy dip as she steered her bike back into the lane ahead.. That's how this very moment felt like with him, like the rest of the world remained still while they followed no other rules but their own.
