West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

For a long moment, Tetradore was resigned to his own silent consideration as he eyed the woman in front of him, the man considering that proposal he had with particular care. After all, once offered, he was not the sort of individual to rebuke such an invitation. Still, Carolina had found her own place within the pack, the girl getting along with her peers and coworkers without strife and already Raven was getting particularly....attached to her. That next step was surely only natural. Abruptly, his lips parted as his baritone voice inquired after her long term intentions. He had little desire to welcome her into their home if she intended to leave like others before her had. Their pack was far too close-knit to handle such frequent and persistent losses. The very suggestion that she might find herself in a position to join the Nightshade pack, however, seemed to wholly catch the woman off guard - that surprise blatant in her feminine features before it was quickly replaced with a distinct weariness and notable caution. Her inquiry as to what it might entail, however, was...curious. She was the first, admittedly, to ever inquire of just how her very life might change should she accept that offer. Even so, he had no desire to lie to her, Tetradore was nothing if not incredibly forthright and transparent - at least on this.

With distinct ease, he laid out those very responsibilities that would be thrust upon her, much less those benefits that came with her involvement. Tetradore paused for a moment, only to reassure her that it was hardly a choice that had to last forever. Leaving was always an option, the Alpha had little desire to demand allegiance from his pack if they had no longer wished to be there. That silence he was rewarded with, however, was hardly unsurprising as the young woman nibbled upon her bottom lip. He was hardly oblivious to that rise of her brow, much less that glimpse of gratitude upon her fair feminine features. A weak hint of a simper lifted the very corners of the Were-King's lips as Carolina's head bobbed in some visible effort to show both her understanding and acknowledgment of that offer and all it entailed. Her insistence that it was more than fair prompted a small bob of Tetradore's own head. "I am glad you think so." He responded, the Alpha's baritone voice was a soft rumble as he watched the woman run her slender fingers through her blonde locks. Even with the plethora of perks, Carolina seemed...unwilling to eagerly commit to that offer of pack life - though Tetradore hardly faulted the girl for her deliberation. Truly, he'd rather she took the time to ensure she was ready to commit to them....to this....than to join them on a passing whim.

The Were-King remained silent as Carolina admitted her own...rather poor experience with family. It was hardly surprising, really, the individuals that made up his pack were often misfits in their own way. Tobias had lost his parents far before he could remember. Raven had murdered her pack for their abuse of her. Alexis had followed a similar path. Mira had been sold out to pay for her father's debts. Henry - his family, whoever they are or whatever had happened to them, were hardly in the picture. And finally, Tetradore's own had been slaughtered and had all but ostracized him. They were all family-less, the group making up their own unit to take on that very role. She was very much just like them. His head nodded ever so slightly, the man more than willing to give her that time. "Of course, let me know when you decide." His emerald eyes lingered upon the woman as she leaned forward, only to comment softly about a cookie safe. A soft snort left Tetradore's nose as his eyes rolled. "If I ever find one, I'll let you know." He commented, reaching in the bag for a cookie of his own. "Seriously though, hide those from Tobias." The Alpha continued over his shoulder as he rose - the man more than content to leave Carolina to her tasks now that his own goal had been seen to.
