West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Black Market

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Syn

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

Maybe she liked cats, I hardly know. Animals and I never really got on, that's not to say I hate them- I just prefer mine done medium rare with a side of fries or between hamburger buns. See? I don't hate all animals now do I? She had something of a point though I suppose, if the bar's owner had been attempting to keep people out then a large feline was probably entirely more repealing then a security guard any day. I for one, would be far less inclined to go in at the risk of being, well, I don't know, rubbed on I suppose, bitten, licked? Animals really are disgusting creatures. I nodded slightly in agreement all the same, a grin flashed easily in her direction. I never had to work this hard to make women feel comfortable before, if anything this ridiculous....Hunter thing is only decreasing my chances of further showing my appreciation to the women of this city. Perhaps Kat might find it amusing and yet really I am hardly ready to give up my enjoyment of a different women every other night- even if none of them are the one I really want. Fortunately, sex is a rather fabulous distraction from every single ridiculous thing that continues to plague my existence, maybe that's why I like women so much- focusing on someone else gives my own mind a chance to simply...be quiet.

For a moment I almost believed she was going to argue with me, one eye lifting in mild curiosity beneath the tainted lens of my sunglasses, ridiculous for night time I know and yet really, at the risk of displaying to my rather delightful company a side of myself I am entirely sure no one wants to see, the glasses are for the better. I simply waited, half daring her to make some sort of retort as I teased at her. Most women after all, simply agree with anything I have to say. Maybe sometimes I enjoy an easy target, but then again, hell, I like a challenge- and any woman no entirely to afraid to take me up on it, her words earning her soft chuckle all the same as I moved to wander away.

"Indeed."

Whether she was actually going to follow me I hardly knew, like I said, I have no interest at all in actually harming her, whatever instinct to kill I am apparently supposed to have clearly malfunctioned within myself. Hell, I don't even see a vampire, I simply see a rather attractive woman who might actually be entertaining. I could also do with a friend I suppose. I moved to simply stride down the street, hand tucking back into the pockets of my jeans as I did, the girl appearing beside me merely a moment later as my lip quirked briefly upward in some look of satisfaction to find that one woman- at least, wasn't afraid. Her mention of this apparently dark and dangerous quest saw a smirk of sorts trace my lips, more then willing to engage her in some sort of ridiculous banter. It had been far too long, far too many nights spent trying to learn how to do...whatever it was Kat seemed to think I should be doing. Alice asking me about myself however at least saw my attention diverted from any thoughts of Kat, at least for a moment, shoulders rolling in a shrug of sorts. All right, so I don't like talking about myself, it's not really my thing, yet I am entirely assured I can offer her enough to at least say I answered the question. I let my gaze rest upon her once more, tousled hair content to fall all over the place as it so often did, then again, I preferred to think of my hair as stylishly messy rather than my having forgotten to do anything with it since I got up.

"Hmm, well, considering I am not nearly drunk enough to tell you anything truly interesting I suppose you'll have to be satisfied with the knowledge that I'm the CEO of my own company, I have not attended a board meeting in about five years and if I can get out of doing anything that requires actual effort I will. The only reason I think any of my investors continue to invite me to charity events and gala balls is because I am very pretty to look at and they like me as a poster boy. Now, do I get to hear the same meaningless details about you?"

What I offered wasn't entirely untrue after all, I only had the company I never wanted because it was left to me in my parents will, after they died it was simply expected that I'd run the business I never held any interest in, in perhaps the same fashion my parents never truly held any interest within me. I will admit I do enjoy the money and privilege my job affords me, I do not enjoy the constant phone calls and the inability of my staff to do anything without first ringing to run it by me. Can't you hire people to run with things for you? I'm hardly bad at what I do, I took my father's millions and made them billions, I always have been good with numbers but I simply get....bored and rather quickly, much to the disdain of the board of directors. I shifted direction slightly, one hand moving to gesture towards the docks ahead of us and the rather large, towering cargo ship docked at the far end. It's hardly the ideal bar as far as I'm concerned, but I seem to have rather a bit of trouble getting into places these days, most owners evidently unwilling to believe that the only thing I'd ever killed was a squirrel- and that was an accident. This bar however, despite it's highly questionable clientele and hygiene standards at least never seemed to ask any questions, perhaps one of the few places a vampire and a hunter might actually get served now that Syn was rather...less...solid.

"I suppose it's fortunate then that you look so much younger than I do, when people comment I am entirely it will be me that gets the negative publicity and I think I might be just manly enough to handle it. Come on."

How old she really was I hardly knew and honestly, I'm not even sure I cared, pausing only long enough to assure the little Mexican man at the door to the boat that I really didn't have a weapon before striding inside. The Ark, I suppose, is aptly named, the place filled almost exclusively with Were's. Animal boxing matches are hardly my thing and yet, like I said, it's one of the few places I can actually get in these days- it also has dancers and since that was the target for tonight I'm willing enough to forgo a little on the class. I moved to easily take a seat at the bar, moving to slide the chair beside me out for my companion, waving the bar tender over before leaning easily back into the chair, gesturing towards the dancers in the centre of the room.

"Well then Alice, I suppose you better tell me which one you fancy, hmm? I have a game or sorts in mind- if you think your daring enough to go up against me and my incredible skills?"

One eye lifted once, daring her all over again, willing to see just how much fun Alice might be.
