West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Raylin Chike

Audette's accent was utterly fascinating, Raylin could have been content to sit there and listen to her voice all night! Her thanks in French has the pink-haired woman grinning at her from ear to ear, though it's short lived as she reaches forward to get the man's attention and depositing the drink on Audette and the newcomer. Apologizing, she begins to mop the mess up, offering a towel to first the man and then to Audette. She had to admit, she couldn't help but feel a touch of relief as the woman waves her off, insisting it was fine. Glancing down at the mess on the counter, a brief frown flits over her features as she turns to wave down the bartender again, "Could you get my friend here a drink, you can put it on my tab," she asks before her attention returns to the man.

Brightening, she inquires about his music, as her fingers shift on her glass drawing designs in the condensation absentmindedly. "You're very good," she flashes him a grin as her eyes dart to the blonde before she responds to his question. Shrugging slightly, "It's more fun to work here than in the more bougie parts of town. The clientele on the other side of town don't really know how to let loose and have a good time," she laughs airily. Sure, she had definitely thought about changing sides of town to get a job, it would be... safer. And yet, she felt like she had lost if that monster ran her off. Pushing such useless thoughts away, "What do you do?" She turns her attention to Audette for a moment.

Her attention is swept away by the man again as he watches Audette only to inform her that she was a target in this district. Frowning slightly, she takes a long drink, her thoughts elsewhere for a brief period of time before she announces she would be happy to tour the woman around.

Ryuji?

Forming the syllables in her mind, she's distracted briefly by the way Audette introduces herself, her sweet personality quite captivating. It was hard not to offer a small smile in return to her. "Do you mind if I just call you Ryu?" She asks, her tongue twisting over the sounds still. A quiet laugh breathes through her lips, "I'm Ray, it's nice to meet you," she states with a nod of her head. Perhaps their conversation would have gone on, perhaps it would have stopped and they would have gone their separate ways. It was hard to tell and yet, their conversation comes to an abrupt halt as a commotion at the door has Ray turning in her seat to get a better view. A scream pierces her ears as her back straightens at the noise. What in the world was going on? She's just about to slide off her feet and investigate when several men burst through the door, each armed to the teeth with guns.

A robbery? She wasn't sure, she didn't really want to find out either and yet, the door was blocked and the emergency exit was across the room. A cold sweat trickles down her back as she darts a wide eyed gaze to her two companions, "We should hide."
