West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Although it surprised Tetradore to find out Alexis not only was dating, but also working for his grandfather, it certainly seemed to...suit the young woman far better then the 'job' of sorts that he had provided for her. Few of the women within his pack seemed to really flourish in the rough and tumble atmosphere the Ark provided, not that he particularly blamed them. He was silent for several moments before he inquired whether or not she enjoyed it. Tetradore watches as a warm simper spread across her features, that alone spoke volumes of her feelings on the job. His head bobbed slowly, "Huh, well...I am glad that you found a place you like." Tetradore responded. He hadn't realized how much...effort his grandfather had put into the woman beside him and yet...perhaps he should have anticipated as much if the pair were dating? His brows furrowed in consideration before Tetradore shook his head ever so slightly, instead focusing on pulling his sports car into an empty parking spot in front the bakery he'd taken to visiting.

The Were-King gestured towards the building he'd parked in front of, insisting the baked goods were...well delicious but the coffee was...only okay at best. He hadn't realized at that moment the very familiarity he gave away as he spoke of Alexander's coffee, that is, until Alexis commented upon it. Tetradore paused, glancing over at the woman beside him before his shoulder lifted in a vague shrug. "We've crossed paths a few times." A few times was putting it...lightly but he saw little reason to expand upon it - willing to let the Dark Hunter have his privacy if he wanted it. The Alpha stepped out of the car, hoping his comment was enough to satisfy the girl's curiosity as she casually joined him on the sidewalk. Tetradore locked the car with a touch of the button on his keyfob before leading the way into the welcomed warmth of the building. His gaze hardly bothered to glance over the menu, having visited enough to have his own preferences. Rather, the Were-King remained largely focused upon Alexis as he asked how she was feeling.

Alexis' insistence that she felt better prompted a small nod from the Alpha, that concern upon her features so easily brushed aside with a flick of his wrist. "Yeah, I'm fine...I've survived worse." Oh how true that statement was! Though Tetradore had little interest in dwelling upon that, the Were-King instead gestured towards the counter as their turn came. He stepped up behind Alexis, the man silent as she placed her order. "A flat white." He muttered to the barista, easily pulling cash out of his wallet to give the woman before she went to work on their order. Tetradore fell silent for several moments as they waited for their drinks, his gaze brushing over the counter of baked goods before, abruptly, the man spoke. "I know you don't really like the fights much...but there are other things you can do around the Ark if you want. Not that I'm trying to get you to stop working with Alexander, you're welcome to d o that as long as you want."
